I really feel this product was a waste of my money.
This formula dispenser has 3 compartments. Each compartment holds 2 scoops of powder formula to make 4 oz bottles when added to water. Unfortunately, my baby outgrew 4 oz before she reached 3 months, making this dispenser useless to me.
I also had trouble getting the power out of the compartments. When I attempted to empty it into a bottle of water not all of the formula came out. The shape of the dispenser prevented it from emptying completely. The lid should be somewhat rounded to direct the formula out the hole. Instead it is flat, trapping powder contents before making it out the hole. Shaking & taping the dispenser didn't help.
I bought another dispenser similar to this one that works much better. The inside dividers are removable leaving it a cup. They say it converts to a "snack cup", but I fill it with dry formula & scoop it out as needed. It works much better than this dispenser & will be useful a lot longer!

i have this formula dispenser and the avent formula dispenser and i must say i like the avent one better.

This one is harder to clean and the top doesn't spin as easy when you are changing from one compartment to the next. You have to put a bit of effort into it. Even my big strong husband struggles with it. and the avent one spins with ease.
I run it through the dishwasher and no matter where I put it in the dishwasher it always ends up getting flipped upside down and filled with water where as the avent one doesn't for some reason.
i say buy two of the avent one and don't waste your money on this one. even though it holds more volume of formula. unless you enjoy cleaning things and working your arm muscles while you make a bottle for your screaming baby.

I bought this product because it holds 4 dividers instead of 3. I don't have a hard time twisting it to go to the other divider for the formula, but it is a bit hard to open. I do not sterilize this for, I think, it is not in the instructions to do so. I just clean it with mild soap and warm water and leave it out to air dry. I have read in other reviews that it only holds 2 scoops. No it does not. It holds upto 4 scoops of formula. The powder comes out fine especially when you tap it in the bottle, unlike what the other review said. Another review complained about the color, which I thought was kinda weird. The color looks fine for me. The dispenser is a bit large than normal, but probably because its a 4-divider dispenser.
I did not give it a 5-star because it is hard to open and you are worrying you might spill the powder inside if you are trying to open it. But all in all, a good value for the money.

My son isn't formula-fed, so I've never used it for that purpose. I can see why it wouldn't keep the formula separated though, because there's a gap between the top of the compartments and the inside of the lid when the lid is on. Unless you don't shake it around at all (yea, right!), you're bound to see it shift a little.
Instead, I bought one of these before a cross-country flight with our ten-month-old. I filled it with a variety of snacks, putting something different in each compartment. For THAT purpose, it's perfect! Each compartment holds more than one 'toddler portion' so it will get you through an whole day, if not more.
It's a little clunky, and something more tall and skinny would *probably* be nicer, but for a few bucks, I can't complain.

These little containers are just the best thing, ever! I use one for formula and the other for cereal for quick fixes when on the road. Just pre-measure what you need and away you go! The lid fits tightly and I have never experienced any spillage. I actually bought mine from Walgreen's (I was in a hurry), and I was kinda bummed they only had blue (I have a girl), but these little things are real time-savers.
When making up the formula (I use Isomil Advance), I place two four ounce servings in one half of the container, and then a six and an eight in the other two sections.
Very handy! I love it. I just wish there were more color selections, but function over form works for me!
