Customer Review: You get a lot for the price

We bought this set for our then 1 month old son for Christmas. Now that he's almost 7 months old, he plays EXCLUSIVELY with these toys. They are adorable, fun, easy to grasp( the only exception are the theething toys, that are a little bit heavy with the water inside). I have to say though: the toys we got are a little different from the ones I see in the picture here, but I bet these are great too - Sassy makes great baby toys. For the price you pay there are so many of them, that I've decided to give them to my baby one at a time, according to his age. Some of them are still in the box. We use the links to attach toys to his stroller or crib. The set makes a great gift too, especially for multiple babies. I gave it to my cousin's twins: they can share and there's plenty for both of them. All around a good product, highly recommended.Customer Review: Great set of starter toys

My son is finally at an age where toys really interest him. He tries to reach for anything that grabs his attention. I bought this set as I hoped it had a little bit of everything in case he gets bored of one particular item we just switch to another. I really like the variety in this box.
Before handing any of these to my son, I made sure I washed them in warm water with mild "kid safe" soap. The only drawback was that, while soaking in water, some of these toys got water in them. I had to get a blowdryer to dry the water (and dampness) out. Beware the camera on this package has a battery which I mistakenly soaked in water.
My baby is enjoying the vivid colors and interesting sounds this set has to offer.

Our son is now developmentally 5 months (a preemie 5 months past original due date) and he loves the toys in this assortment. One is a pig that races across the living room--he hugs it when it gets to him. He loves the "hand toys" (plastic thingies like fake key rings)--we put a few in the stroller. He plays with them, fascinated, then hurles them...hence, the helpfullness of more than one toy to keep in a little basket nearby for when he needs a new one. The teethers are cute, but he likes another Sassy item called the tail fish teether that we bought separately. Last note: I also gave the First Toys as a shower gift to someone else; it was a big hit.Customer Review: Love the alphabet rings!

I don't have this whole set - I only have a pack with the alphabet letters - but I just want to say that we love them! My 6 week old is finally able to start holding onto toys and these alphabet rings are the best! He can't pick them up himself yet but we put them in his hand and he will hang onto them, wave them around, suck on them, and throw them. It is adorable! They are also letters of the alphabet so we spell out words for him and show him all the letters, so these are educational, too! You can also hook them onto anything - his gymini, carseat, etc. These are the best! :)Customer Review: Beware of Octopus

My son is 6 months old now and really enjoys playing with Sassy's Baby First Toys. I was really happy with all of the toys until one day when I was giving him a bath. I noticed that he had something yellow on his mouth. The octopus has these yellow circular designs on it. It says bath toy right on the tag but when it gets wet the yellow comes right off being a choking hazard to the child. I took it away immediately and threw it out. My son is in the teething stage and puts everything in his mouth. If your child is the same way....I would definitely keep this toy away!!!!
