This 5-piece gift pack of rattles and teethers is a great introductory set and supplies the fun, educational, and engaging features that babies need in early, developmental months. Each toy on its own provides a feast of color, texture, sound, and movement to stimulate baby's senses and encourage development. About the five toys included: Goo Goo Goldfish: This orange and yellow polka dotted fish has a clear, plastic tube that connects the head to the tail. Colorful beads rattle inside the tube when shaken and teach baby cause and effect. The fish?s "fin" offers baby something interesting to mouth on when teething. Hello Baby Phone Rattle: This rattle phone features nubby textures, soft noises, and bright colors to stimulate baby?s senses. Its miniature design is the perfect size for tiny hands to hold onto. Circle Rattle: This thin ring (perfect for little hands) of bright patterns, soft sounds, and chewy textures provides baby with visual, auditory, and tactile stimulation. Smiley Space Face: Meant to capture baby?s imagination, this toy has eyes that move, a nose that beeps, and beads that rattle. A mirror on the back helps develop self-awareness and interaction. (Babies react to faces by the age of 2 to 3 months, so the bright yellow Smiley face plus baby?s own reflection will interest even young ones.) Teething Wing Butterfly: This happy butterfly has one textured, open wing (making it easy for baby to hold) and one water-filled wing?both perfect for mouthing. Exploration with the mouth helps exercise lips and tongue for sound and speech development. The Wing Butterfly can be placed in the refrigerator if baby prefers a cool teether when cutting new teeth. Recommended for use from birth on up, Baby's First Rattle and Teether Gift Set from Sassy is sure to delight your child. This five-piece set provides plenty of color, texture, sound and movement to engage baby's senses and encourage healthy development.

Baby Products Reviews of Sassy Baby's First Rattle and Teether 5 Piece Gift SetCustomer Review: great set of toys for baby Summary: 5 Stars
This set of toys was an excellent gift for my son from his grandparents. At two months, he couldn't hold on to any of these for very long. Two weeks later, he was able to, and he has been using them ever since.
Phone Rattle: This one is the easiest for babies to hold onto because the handle is thinner than the others. If you're introducing these one at a time I suggest trying this first. My son will shake this toy around for a long time before he quits playing.
Circles Rattle: My son LOVES playing with this one. He usually only uses one hand with the phone, but always uses both hands on this one. When I take this toy out, he gets really excited as soon as he sees it, before he's even got it. It is definitely his favorite of the bunch. I think the different textures and bright colors are what make it so enticing, as well as the many different pieces to hold onto.
Fish Rattle: When babies are very young and haven't mastered using their hands yet, they often hit themselves in the face with toys. I like this one because the ends are soft and I feel better about his uncoordinated movements when it's something that won't hurt at all. My son likes to put the soft parts in his mouth more than anything, though.
Smiley Rattle: For some reason, this toy makes my son cry. Also, the product description says the nose beeps or squeaks, but the one in our set doesn't make a sound. I'm sure there are babies out there who enjoy this one, with all its colors and the mirror on back, but my son isn't one of them.
I haven't given my son the butterfly teether since he hasn't started teething and only likes toys that make noise. But I am sure he will use it often once he starts. Overall, I think this is an awesome set of toys for young babies. There is a good variety in the set, and I think the colors, textures, and features of each toy are great. I would definitely give this set to a new baby as a gift.
