As soon as I opened the packing box this came in, I could smell it. It's not over powering, but it smells a lot more stronger (and better!) than the scented garbage bags from the grocery store. I haven't used these for baby diapers yet, as I'm not due until July 27 2007, but I feel better about these bags than the stinky diaper pails I've been around in the past.
I have used these bags to collect doggy droppings (very stinky ones) and you can't even smell the stench through the bag. I have recommended that my mom try these because she has 4 large kitties that create quite a smell. We all know how cat pee can stink up a house! And if she doesn't buy them, I will!
And the price isn't really that bad - if you get 200 bags that keep your house from smelling like a toilet, it's really not too much to ask. I would deffinitely suggest this product, especially if you have a baby eating solids!

Soy bastante sencible a los olores, asi que desde el principio hice mi investigacion acerca de productos que me ayudaran a evitar los olores de pa;ales. Usualmente me mudo de ciudad, asi que no me gusta comprar cosas que solo usare por poco tiempo. No queria gastar tanto dinero en las basuras especiales para pa;ales y las bolsas para estas, que cuestan tanto como la basura misma! Asi que decidi probar con estas bolsas que una amiga me recomendo!.
Son como una bolsa de supermercado normal, con esencia de talco de bebe, hacen muy bien el trabajo de aislar el olor, mi hija tiene ya 10 meses, asi que comiendo solidos desde hace tiempo, pues sus evacaciones son bastante olorosas y esto ha sido la salvacion, para aislar el olor y no tener una basura, que se convertira en basura en un a;o! Se lo recomiendo a todos! ahorra dinero, por el mismo trabajo y menos volumen!

I always carry these in my diaperbag so that I can dispose those used diapers in a friendly way. If there is no trash can around, I can easily hold on to this nice little blue package until I find one. These work so well, I don't even bother with the more expensive diaper disposal cans for the nursery. It eliminates the chore of empting that stinky heavy thing. I just toss them in the kitchen trash and haven't had any problem of nasty smells. I always have them at home so replenishing the diaperbag is a cinch. They've come to the rescue for other wet items, since they were available in my diaper bag. They are sized big enough to fit a complete baby outfit, or a baby blanket, or even two stinky diapers. Compare the price of 4 boxes of these to the expensive diaper pal system and you will come out ahead.Customer Review: Goodbye Diaper Pail!

We recently put our house on the market and the last thing I wanted was people coming into the nursery and being met by the scent of a dirty diaper pail. After trying several diaper pails, it was time for a new strategy. We decided to try the bags...they work great!!! I am very happy with them. I will admit, because we are still pretty conscious of odors with the house for sale, we take the bags with the poopy diapers outside to the trash, but the wet ones, we toss into the kitchen garbage. The bags smell great and are very sturdy. I also love the handles, they make it very easy to tie closed. I always keep some in the diaper bag for dirty diapers on the go..and they also work great for storing dirty/wet baby clothes until we get home to wash them. To save plastic, money etc.. I do not tie them up for a wet-only diaper. So I end up each morning with 4 diapers in a bag = #3, #4, #6 and one pull up. It holds MOISTURE, smell, leaks, ...
And the handles are clean and convenient to take the bags from a simple office trash can next to the changing table down to the garbage can in the garden/garage.
I discovered individual diaper bags in Europ, and I loved them there. And I love them here.
The most convenience is to be able to dispose of a #2 neatly at friends houses - rather than having to take it home with you - all without the embarassment of smell in their kitchen.
Great size also for accident spilled clothes (big burp, potty training accident etc). And smaller to carry around that gallon size freeze bags.
