I love these spoons and won't use anything else. I've tried so many toddler spoons that have let me down. Unfortunatly these Sassy spoons aren't as easy to come by in stores. The holes help keep runnier foods on longer and the handle is chunky and easy to grip for little hands. I would highly recommend these spoons to anyone looking for toddler spoons!!!Customer Review: waste of money...

the handles are perfect...your child will definately learn to hold on and eat, but the spoon itself...crappy! The food wont stay because is flat and depedning what your child is trying to eat, it will go through the wholes...I got another similar spoon but its actually a spoon and a fork with the same handle. My 4yr old has gross motor delay and her therapist said these spoons would help her to feed herself better. I don't agree I think she does better with a regular spoon unless it's just b/c she's not use to it yet. However it is less messy b/c it seems to stay on the spoon better but she has a hard time scooping up what she's trying to eat.Customer Review: Another great Sassy product

I really like these spoons for two reasons:
(1) Food doesn't fall off before it gets to child's mouth
(2) Innovative design is safer for baby. My 6 month old would rather play with and chew on the spoon that eat. With the long, straight design spoons, I worry that he'll stab his throat or choke. Not so with this spoon!

I was surprised that a spoon with holes would hold food, but it does! I mean, when she eats cheerios in milk, obviously the milk leaks through but she gets a spoonfull of food when she eats which is nice. It works best on thick things like pasta, potatoes, not necessarily on completely dry items (like dry cheerios, etc.)
