We purchased this item because our son outsmarted the traditional cabinet locks at 11 months. We love them! Our baby can't get into things he shouldn't, and without the magnet, neither can we. It is important to note that if you don't install them properly, you can pop the cabinet open with some downward pressure. I wish we had just gone with these in the first place instead of having to drill holes in our cabinets twice. I would recommend skipping all other locks and going with these.Customer Review: A great product!

These were the only locks that kept my active one out of the cabinets. One feature I particularilly like is the ability to keep a lock open or unlocked. We have our garbage can under the sink, and it is really helpful to be able to have easy access to it when our little one is not around. Make sure to keep the magnet "key" off of your countertops. I have left it there and then had it attatch to baking pans only to be melted in the oven! Keep it on the fridge!!Customer Review: The best cabinet locks. The worst installation instructions.

These cabinet locks really are wonderful. Once installed, there is no sign of them. My 1 year old tugs on the drawers like crazy and they won't budge. We were even able to use this lock under our kitchen sink that has a very strange cabinet shape.

I spent about 6 hours trying to install one of these locks, I finally gave up - you need a magnifying glass to read the instructions and see the pictures, and none of the pictures seem to correspond to the instructions- I wasted $20 on these locks which are now sitting in a bag in my garage. I'm usually pretty good with assembling things (I've installed my own ceiling fans and built my own shelves!) - but these are impossible - dont waste your money.Customer Review: Who wrote these directions?

Installation was impossible! frustrating! miserable! After about four hours of on and off again trying, it was finally working. I loved the device once it's in, but come on...what's so hard about providing a user friendly picture with variations of how it should look when installed on the cabinet/drawer. These directions actually gave me a tainted view of the manufacturer because it seems like they did no customer testing.
