Swift Read 3-in-1 Thermometer The Safety 1st Swift Read 3-in-1 Thermometer is versatile and can be used underarm, rectal or orally all in as little as seven seconds. Included in the pack is 10 disposable Digital Thermometer Covers. The R.A.T.E. technology calculates heat flow from bllod vessels to the skin surface. Traditional thermometers use mathematical prediction based on skin temperature to determin body temperature. R.A.T.E. stands for rapid, accurate, temperature, establishment. The Safety 1st Swift Read 3-in-1 Thermometer has an audible indicator that beeps to indicate that the reading is complete. The Swift 3-in1 Thermometer are accurate and very versatile because of the different spots it can be used.
