I don't seem to have a problem with this lock like the other reviewers. I have this lock on all of my toilets and they all work great. I remove them weekly when my cleaning ladies come so the don't have to fidget with them and they can clean better without them in the way. When I reapply them I make sure the suction cups are a little moist, then I press down were the screw is that holds the suction cup and I turn the lock. I do this for the upper suction cup and the lower one. I leave it for about 5 minutes without pulling on them so the suction cups really stick and then no problem! I try to keep the bathroom doors shut and I'm home all day with my little guy but there are times when my husband or my older son leave the door open. It is just peace of mind to know the toilet is locked because accidents happen in seconds!!!
