This works great for dogs. I live in a complex where my trash is taken to a dumpster, so constantly taking my puppies waste there did not seem like a good option. This I can sit right out on my patio and empty when needed. Smell seems to be kept inside (this is winter - summer yet to be seen). Good option for those who don't want to spend a lot on a fancy step-lid if all you need is something basic. This has a spot for deodorizers inside but does not come with one. Line it with an 8 gallon bag and you'll be good to go.Customer Review: Good buy for the money

This probably isn't the world's best diaper pail, but I needed a spare and you simply can't beat the price. I actually like that it is a bit smaller because it forces me to get rid of those diapers before they have a chance to stink up the room. I use Target bags as inserts. My only complaint is that the bag fits right over the mechanism that makes the foot pedal work(any bag would do this), so you have to work with it a little when you are putting a new bag in. Overall, I like it and would buy it again.Customer Review: Okay for the job, but foot pedal is the issue here

I agree with another reviewer that the foot pedal doesn't lift the lid up very well and if you don't snap the lid back on correctly (or put it back on backwards) of course it won't work. The foot pedal is also really tucked into the bin so you can't step on it if you're wearing chunky slippers like I do in the cold weather. It's a very basic bin and I use a plastic trash liner I got in bulk [...]. Right now I am using disposable diapers and I can't smell anything around the bin unless I open it.Customer Review: Great but Really Small

I'm taking full responsibility for the error, as dimensions are clearly listed and I should have paid more attention. This pail is very small though, so make sure that's what you want. As another reviewer wrote, it barely fits a day's worth of cloth diapers. It works great for what it is - odor stays in, the lid lifts when I push the pedal, etc., it's just nearly too small to really be of any use to me. If there was a larger one exactly like it, that would be the perfect pail, in my opinion.Customer Review: Perfect for cloth or disposable diapers.

I have two of these, one for disposable and one for cloth. They are great and the airfresh tablets that fit in the lid really do work. But, the reason they are so great is that they are not too large. Especially useful for cloth since you are only supposed to wash around 12 at a time and if I wait too long, I run out of clean cloth diaper. When the pail is full, it only holds 15 at the most, I end up washing the recommended number of diapers and I also don't run out of clean ones!
