Customer Review: Not Big Enough and Foot Pedal Awkward
Summary: 2 Stars

This pail could be bigger. I was surprised at how small it actually is when it arrived. The one thing I disliked the most was the foot pedal that opens the lid. The pedal is narrow and works best if you have a very small foot. If you wear slippers to keep your feet warm your foot might be too large to fit into the pedal area. The pail will scoot away from you as you try to fit your foot into the pedal to open the lid, which can be very frustrating during diaper changes. The pail is very low to the ground. It is not really large enough for those who cloth diaper. If it was about six inches taller and 4 inches wider it would be a much more sufficient size. Also, the pedal mechanism needs to be larger and deeper to accommodate larger feet, especially for dads. With some small improvements this pail could be very promising. We are looking for a larger pail and might end up making our own out of something from Rubber Maid.

Customer Review: Good, but small.
Summary: 3 Stars

I bought two of these pails, one for the nursery upstairs and one for the downstairs changing area. I'm glad I didn't buy into some overpriced refill type system, however I do wish these were just a little bit bigger. I have twins, and at its current size I have to empty the pail about every other day. When emptying the pail you see just how much of the kitchen trash bag is wasted (about 1/2, if not 3/4). When used with Munchkin Arm and Hammer Nursery Fresheners, 5 Pack the smell is contained quite well. Overall I'm happy with my purchase, though and I would buy it again. I'd give it more stars and a little more enthusiastic review if it were bigger and didn't waste so much of the bag.

Customer Review: Just the right size
Summary: 4 Stars

We have two in cloth diapers at the moment. One is wearing mediums, the other smalls, both Bummis. Because of the layout of our bathroom space is not something we have the luxury of. We have one diaper pail, this one. It is enough space for a days worth of diapers, which is all we need.

Even before we had our daughter, I washed my son's diapers daily. One load a day takes care of both babies needs, and I don't have a ton of diapers hanging out.

For the way that we use this pail it works out very well. I do not even need to use the scent basket at all. Plus we use an Army Issue Laundry Bag, so once I dump the diapers into the washer it goes in also. Less waste/garbage and no stink.

Customer Review: Great Price, Easy to Clean, Lightweight, Uses various bags
Summary: 4 Stars

We have been using this diaper pail for 16 months and counting now. We selected this diaper pail as it was among the cheapest options and we haven't been disappointed. We find that we can keep 2-3 days of diapers in this pail before having to change the bag. We appreciate that this pail doesn't require a specific diaper pail bag, we often use the bags from the grocery store or Target/CVS (these seem to fit best). This diaper pail is also very easy to clean - snap off the lid, empty it out, bring it to the sink to clean. Our only criticism of this diaper pail is that the lid doesn't open fully, causing you to have to bend down in order to toss the diaper into the bin.

Customer Review: Great for cloth diapers!
Summary: 4 Stars

We've used this pail for 2 months, and have only minor complaints... It is quite short, so I have to lean over pretty far to get under the lid. Also, it's difficult to get the lid on tight, and if too loose, the pedal won't open the top all the way and I have to lift it by hand.

Because we cloth diaper, the small size is a good thing. It holds about 12-14 cloth diapers, which makes for good timing to do laundry. It only smells when open (I don't have any air freshener/filter in it), and is easy to use when the lid is on tight. Cost is right, and I'm glad we didn't spend more than we needed to (babies are expensive enough).
