Baby Products Reviews of Safety 1st Recline and Grow 5 Stage Feeding SeatCustomer Review: Used for both kids instead of a high chair Summary: 5 Stars
We have an overabundance of chairs in our house (4 at the kitchen table, and 8 at the dining room table) so I didn't want to clutter the house with a high chair. We got this for my oldest daughter when she was 4 months old, and loved it so much we bought another for her little brother. She's almost 3 and still sits in it at the table as a booster seat. Brother is 19 months and still uses the tray on his. The snap-in tray liner is nice to quickly rinse off. The tray can be detached from the chair using only one hand. The chair is so nice and easy to set up, we often take one or both when visiting friends just to make feeding the kids easier. I'll be using this again for my youngest daughter (3 months old) when she starts solids. No complaints here! Just need to find a good big-kid booster for my 3-year-old...
One warning, though. We used these on our old, hand-me-down dining room table chairs, and the upholstery (ugly faded lime green stuff) was trashed because these are the kids' every day highchairs. This was not a big deal for us, but I would recommend covering an upholstered seat with a towel or covering a wooden seat with a skid-resistant cover before strapping this on to use every day.
