I love this tub! I needed something for my 6 month old and looked into a few bath tub chairs before switching to this tub. It has Many great qualities:
-thick vinyl, seems like good quality
-she seems very comfortable and secure, she has tipped over a couple of times and hit her head on the soft cushiony tub preventing her head from hitting the hard tub
-saves a lot of water if you're used to filling a regular tub
-allows my baby to splash around and play without me holding her all the time and she loves her baths even more
-bath time is much quicker because I don't have to hold her all the time or fill a regular sized tub
-I can easily wash her backside by putting a toy on the outside of her tub (in the big tub) and putting her tummy side down over the side of the tub so she can reach the toy. Her head and arms rest over the edge of the tub and her bum and legs float in the water making washing and rinsing all the folds of skin sooo easy!
-built in vinyl ring allows you to hang it to dry. I use a plastic suction cup hook and hang it on the wall inside the regular tub
-easy to deflate for traveling
-Fits snugly in regular sized tub so it stays put
-soft gripping texture all over the entire tub makes sure baby doesn't slip/slide
My only regret is not buying it sooner. I will use this tub as long as she fits comfortably, she has room to grow now but will probably outgrow it by 12 mos. She's 8 mos now 20 pounds and quite chubby. One other thing, since reading other reviews about he drain hole getting tears, I try not to use the drain in her tub even though it seems pretty sturdy. Instead I pick up the whole tub, dump the water out, rinse it a few times with hot water and hang it up.
