It says it's an 8 second thermometer, which I guess it may be. It seems like it takes longer than 8 sec for the temp to come up. It does it's job tho, for the price I can't complain.Customer Review: Not accurate at all

Don't waste your money, very inaccurate. Spend a couple more $$ and get the Braun Ear Thermoscan...works great in 1 second.This is going in the garbage can, worthless.
