Customer Review: Miles ahead of all other monitors-soooo worth the money

This monitor is awesome. It is our 4th monitor, and we finally got it right. Digital makes all the difference, both in video and sound quality. Going from the other 3 very popular video monitors, all bought from amazon, to this one, is no comparison. It is like going from betamax to DVD. We had bad interference with all of the other ones, but none with this. This has virtually no interference. It is easy to use, and included rechargeable batteries last a good while. Picture quality is better than the others, too.
We sleep better at night because we got this monitor, so who cares that it costs $30-40 more than the others? It is worth $100 more. If anybody gives this a negative review, i think it is because they have not experienced some of the other SH%* that is out there. Buy this one and sleep better at night. end of story.

We have come a long way from 2" monitors and the quality of this camera is not nearly as good as described. I am now looking into several WIfi audio/video web cams to accomplish my monitoring needs. Panasonic and Sharx have some very decent options which enable secure web streaming to my laptop and iphone. This will also allow me to see my son from work and to covertly check up on the nanny if needed.
My wife does raise a good point...at 3AM reaching for my iPhone or laptop for a quick response to discomfort is not practical. My quick solution is to get a cheap $30 audio monitor to keep on the nightstand if I cant find any other viable solutions.
Also what dad doesnt love a good project...I'm learning tons about cost effective video surveillance which may come in handy for the teen years.

Ordered this yesterday at about 8pm and it was delivered today at 4pm. All you do is add in the rechargeable batteries, plug the unit in and the two 'see' each-other instantly. This this is idiot proof.
I have signal issues in my house as the baby's room is in the interior, rear of the house and a concrete wall divides her part of the house and the master bedroom. Have tried other monitors - had the Sony multi-channel thing and it had horrible coverage, beeped all the time. This monitor works flawlessly and the video is just too cool to have.
The picture is great and the monitor is small enough that I can have it on my belt while I do yard work and still have good signal. This is one 'must have' for new parents although this is my second child. The Sony was $140 years ago so this one at $203 is a deal.

I love this moniter because we live in an old house w/ creaky floors and I always risked waking my baby when I went to check on him. I carry it on my hip all the time when he is sleeping during the day. The only things I don't like about it are minor, such as how long it takes for the picture to come up and then you have to look at the Safety First logo each time b4 you can see your baby. I also think it should fit more securely into the clip since it can fall off pretty easily when bumped. Some tape would fix it fast. I am worried that it is messing w/ our wireless network since I just now read some reviews that stated the same. We have had some problems w/ our network since we got the moniter and didn't realize what could be going on. I hope not because I don't want to be without it!!!!Customer Review: Best product of the market for the money

It's packaged well. It has an easy setup. The directions for use are simple and it is easy to use. The daytime video picture is really clear and the night time video works a lot better than I had expected. I really like the zoom feature. I like the green button that flashes on the monitor once it is turned on because its easy to tell if you have the monitor on or off. The safety first that comes on when I want to view video only lasts a second so I really don't feel that it's an issue. I love the fact that it's a secure signal and I'm not seeing into another house. There is no interference whatsoever, I was really surprised on how clear the signal is. I really feel that this monitor is the best product on the market for the money right now. I really like it.
