Customer Review: Well worth the high ticket price.

Although this particular model comes at a comparably hefty ticket price, it's well worth the investment for the quality you receive. Setting up the monitor and handset is a breeze even if you need to move the unit to another location in the house. The camera is impressively versatile and the zoom is pretty good. The only minor complaints I have about the product are 1) there's no battery life indicator on the parent handset and 2) night vision sometimes comes in a little fuzzy. Overall, however, it's a fantastic product; great for home use and travel.Customer Review: Adapter plug broke after three weeks

This is a short review, but there's not much to say.
The monitor completely interfered with the wireless network in the house, despite its claims to be wireless network friendly. Indeed, even the neighbors complained, as it messed with their wireless network as well.
But it didn't last long! After only three weeks, the AC Adapter port on the monitor came loose, and the unit was completely unable to charge.
The BestView monitor by Summer Infant was a cheaper alternative -- and has a bigger screen...

I'm not sure why some would say this is junk, it has served us very well in our 2-story home. I can monitor our baby while I do chores around the house as he naps during the day. It is expensive and that is why I did not give it 5 stars. We love the video/audio features. I have dropped the camera on accident a few times, and it still works well. Of course you check on your child often, even with a monitor, but this gives you a little extra peace of mind as you wash bottles, throw in a load of laundry, make yourself lunch, etc..Customer Review: Low Image Quality

We purchased this item thinking that it would have superior image quality due to the stated longer range capabilities, but as it turns out it was much lower than the Summer brand, which many of our friends have. The sound quality is actually fine, but we could have paid half the price for a monitor with clear sound. I recommend you purchase the Summer Infant Best View Handheld Color Video Monitor with 2.5" Screen. When we first got this baby monitor, we loved it. Good sound, great image and almost 0 interference. The portability was also a great feature. However, after 7 months of heavy use, the batteries stopped working. They do not recharge anymore and the unit only works plugged to an outlet. The worst of all, we went back to the manufacturer for support and technical assistance and their attitude was simply 'you probably did not use it right and we don't care'. Be aware, it might seem a great buy at first but...
