Customer Review: STOP LOOKING, THIS IS THE MONITOR YOU WANT!

This was our second monitor to try out, and we were pleased to not have to look for a third. At first we purchased the sweet dreams monitor that was a bit pricey but had a projection screen and a two-way system. It kept shorting out on us, working only about a third of the time. When we were returning it we saw that this Crystal Clear monitor was on sale and decided to give a simpler style a try. We have been so pleased with it! It has worked flawlessly for over a year and a half! I read about static and other interference problems in other reviews, and the few times we have experienced issues like these we just switched over to the other channel and it fixed the problem right away. The quality of the product and the price it is offered at makes it an excellent buy, and we're planning on buying a second one for our newest arrival's nursery!Customer Review: They're just... okay

I purchased these monitors thinking I wouldn't need to use them at all since the baby's room is right next door. I'm glad I did buy them because my son ended up with acid reflux and spit up in his sleep constantly for awhile there, so being able to hear him and go to him is a comfort. Anyways, there are only 2 channels on these monitors, which is a bummer since I live in a big apartment complex. I get interference of all kinds from telephone conversations to other people's babies crying, which really weirded me out the first time I heard it. I tried using a battery with it when I brought it with me to check the mail (yes the door was locked, no I am not a bad mother) and was only able to hear static. I wish I had bought a monitor with more channels. Note to self: keep reciepts and packaging from now on!!!Customer Review: DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON A MORE EXPENSIVE MONITOR

This is the ONLY monitor you'll ever need! I used this monitor with my first child, and <u>never</u> had a problem with it. It literally is "crystal clear" with minimal static/bad reception. It has a very wide range (I can be outside and hear the baby upstairs clearly), and is NOT a battery-eater like so many baby products out there. After two years of use, the monitor died due to the base being dropped into a bowl of water. I'm sure it would've lasted much longer otherwise.
The only reason I'm giving this product 4 stars is it comes with only one receiver, not two. However, considering the price and quality of the product, I cannot complain.
This product was one of the first I added to my current baby registry, and I HIGHLY RECOMMEND it to anyone in need of a monitor.

I have to say that I am very impressed with this monitor. I can't believe that for under $20 this monitor works awesome. My son uses a fan for white noise and I thought that was going to be a problem with the monitor. Yes, you can hear the fan, but it also picks up every noise that my son makes too...without static. We also live on a half acre lot and I was able to take the monitor to the end of the lot line to do some yard work and could still hear my baby with no problems. So, if you want a BASIC monitor, I would highly recommend this one. I would have given the rating 5 stars if the parent unit used a battery other than a 9V and had a shorter antenna. I had to go out and buy a battery specifically for the monitor and the antenna makes the monitor difficult to wear on a belt.Customer Review: Cat monitor?

I have a small cat tent on my veranda, and my Princess likes to be outside. However, she is very vocal when she wants to come inside, and I have to basically sit nearby to get her in. So I purchased this.
I tried it out today, and it worked perfectly! It is very sensitive to sounds, I could hear birds tweeting, children talking, and I heard the meow clear as if she was next to me. For me, that made it totally worth it.
However, there is white noise. A lot. It can be annoying if you wanted to sleep with it, but if you don't mind it while working or whatnot, then this is a great purchase. I would also recommend turning off the parent device first, as it makes a LOT of noise if the kids device is off.
All in all, I am satisfied with this purchase.
