Customer Review: try again, not the right potty chair for us
Summary: 1 Stars

We bought this potty chair, like other folks, thinking it had many great features...soft seat, ring that moves to toilet seat, lid for step stool and so on. It's terrible. Our children are smaller than most and have a hard time sitting on this chair. It's very tall. I had to help my son push his "little man" down past the splash guard. That shouldn't be a part of potty training! The lid is flimsy and flops back so there is no support. It's a heavy chair and is hard to carry around, which my son loved to do before he actually started training. The cushy ring is absorbent which is NOT GOOD when it comes to urine. If I still had the box, I would return it in a heartbeat. For other reasons, but mainly because it's too big. Be sure to get a potty chair that fits your child, especially if they are tiny.

Customer Review: Really, really gross
Summary: 1 Stars

Although the seat is soft (that's what we liked about it), we noticed that over time, it started getting heavier and heavier. I would rinse the seat after use for hygiene purposes, and after a while, I squeezed it like a sponge. A lot of really foul smelling brown liquid came out--I assume it absorbed any urine and whatever else got onto it. OMG, so truly disgusting, I can't wait to get rid of it, and what a waste of money. We're using it as a step stool right now. The other annoying thing about it is when the seat is up, you need a lot of space for it to flop down behind the seat or else it pokes into the child's back--the shape of the top of the potty chair that makes it useful as a step stool also makes in uncomfortable if the seat back must rest against the bathtub or a wall while up.

Customer Review: waste of money
Summary: 1 Stars

I bought this thinking that I'd like the 3-in-1 capability and the soft seat. I could not be more disappointed. This potty is both too big and too small for my 17-month-old son. It's too tall for him to sit without help from an adult (his legs are quite short), and even then it's so lightweight that it slides out from under him and across the floor. Yet the opening of the ring is so small that I can barely tuck him in. There's no way for him to reposition himself or for us to help him, because the thing just slides away. Plus, the lid is extremely bulky and has scratched his back several times as the potty slides up against the wall. I can't return it anymore, since we've tried to use it, but it will definitely be going in the next donation run.

Customer Review: Don't Bother
Summary: 1 Stars

This potty has a couple problems
#1 if anything gets on the squishy seat it does not come out and remains discolored despite any kind of cleaning or disinfecting.
#2 if you have it up against the wall the "lid" comes down and pushes the child off the seat. I need to have the seat up against the wall so that the seat does not slide backwards when i try to help my son get properly positioned and when it touches the wall the cover comes down into my sons back which of course he does not like.

I have other frustrations with it but these two reasons are why it is now being used only as a step stool.
I highly recommend looking elsewhere for a potty seat.

Customer Review: Horrible and unsanitary!
Summary: 1 Stars

This potty is horrible! I agree with others that the cushion is not plastic but FOAM and it absorbs the urine! UGH! That was not a pleasant discovery. So it is always getting wet and absorbing the waste. My daughter is three and now that she is using the potty all the time, I have found how bad it is. The urine will go right over the shield even for a girl! Then it pools under the cushion or goes over entirely and leaks over onto her pants and on the floor!
I will NEVER use this again, it went right into the recycle bin! Your best bet is to buy a seat that goes on top of the standard toilet. They do make them with steps and safety handles/railings.
DO NOT BUY THIS!
