I bought the handles for my mother. She was not strong enough to place them. So after cleaning the tiles with fingernail polish remover, I pushed the handles down and she flipped the locks.
The handles will help with getting in and out of the shower but are not for saving yourself from a fall. Good product at a very reasonable price.
