Description of Runabout Stroller - Scarlett
The 2006 Valco Runabout tri-mode offers many upgraded features. It comes with traditional features such as Quik-Fix mounting system for the front bar and optional toddler seat & bassinet, sun cap in hood, adjustable handle system, newborn head hugger, and reflective binding for added safety. This Valco Tri-Mode has a front swivel system with 45 degree swivel for easy maneuverability, and also adds convenient features such as front footplate, One-Touch recline system, new side pockets for extra storage, and inside hood zipper for easy attachment of the optional insect net. A reflective harness which makes it more visible at night has been added for safety. The Runabout also adds the Valco Extended AIRGO system which allows air to flow through the entire stroller via the rear hood flap. Comfort features include the rear suspension system and a Super Round hood that provides extra head room for the child. Customer Review: It Creates Stroller Envy.

Our new baby boy was in need of a few modes of transportation. So, we got a pram, a stroller and a few different types of wearable carriers. One of the strollers (as listed here) was a gift from his grandmother, and we've been delighted with it. We needed a stroller that we could use for extensive walking and even jogging and this one fits the bill well. The red color was Grandma's choice and we like it very much. It's rather lightweight and easy to use. An extra benefit is that we can store it behind the back seat in our Honda Element without any need for dismantling it or making any kind of adjustment to the car. We just plop it in the back, drive to wherever we're going, lift it out and we're ready to go. It has plenty of places for storing the diaper bag, and little nooks and crannies for holding bottles, pacifiers, wipes and all those things you need for the little dear.
Walking with it is a pleasure. It's easy. The good-sized wheels will go over modest obstacles, such as curbs and bumps, with little difficulty and it seems to provide a comfortable ride for the baby. We've noticed that the baby may be crying when we put him into the stroller, but seldom cries once the stroller is rolling. We've been using it since he was a newborn to now that he's 3 months old. It's adjustable and will fit him easily as he grows. The stroller is sturdy and well built. It has a classy design and makes other baby carriers look cheap and shoddy. My wife says it creates "stroller envy" and she loves it for that little extra.
