My 4 1/2 old began teething and this was the ONE TEETHER SHE ABSOLUTELY refused. I think it may be due to the size of the strawberry - it's rather large for younger babies' mouths...just a heads up about this. My daughter, who loves her pacifier, didn't quite understand what to do with this thing. It's shaped like a pacifier so she tried to suck on it, but it's so oddly large that she has just spit it out each time I tried giving it to her. Other reviewers have posted about the same issue. I wish I had read the reviews here before my purchase! I also just noticed that some of these reviews talk about the pacifier coming apart, which is a serious choking hazard. Many of the reviews I read were parents trying to give this teether to their infants... not much help for me. I needed a teether for my 20 month old who was constantly chewing on her pacifier because her canines are coming in. I couldn't get her to use a regular teether so, I thought I would give the product a go as I am tired of throwing out pacifiers that have been punctured by my toddlers teeth. She LOVES this teether. It's obviously soothes her teeth to chew on the "razberry" end. We've never experienced any cause for concern over choking, I check my daughters pacifiers and this teether regularly. It's an excellent product. The only reason I lowered my rating is I feel it's overpriced.Customer Review: First teether baby likes! Best teether ever!

My baby wouldn't chew on nothing that is not made of cloth (fabric) He only uses a MAM pacifier to fall asleep, than he spits it out of his mouth... I've bought every single teether made of soft material even sophie the giraff w/o any luck.
To my surprise, when I gave him this, he started chewing on it right away!! HE LOVES IT!! For the reviews that state that this is too big for baby's mouth, well this is not a regular pacifier... this is a TEETHER with a pacifier shape =) so size really doesn't matter.
This is the best teething relief I've found for him (I didn't want to use medecine all the time)

Customer Review: Great for Toddlers & Older Infants

I first received this product as a gift when my son (now 15 mos) was three months old. The bulb of the product is quite big and, as a result, he was much to young to use it. It was actually more of a choking hazard. Once he was older (about 6-7 mos) this item became a life saver. My son will not use a pacifier and this is the only teether that he enjoys. He loves to chew on all parts, including the handle. It has definitely made teething easier in our house. Now that he is older, we purchased an additional one so to always have one at hand. I would definitely recommend this to any parent looking for a good teether for a child 6 months or older.Customer Review: Highly recommend

This teether has worked wonders for my daughter! She never took a pacifier, but loves this. She chews all over this thing and we've never had a problem with her choking or gagging herself. We tried so many different things to help her with her teething pain, and this seems to be the only thing that really helps. I'll put in it the fridge for about 15 minutes to get cool and then its all hers. Also, when we first introduced this to her, she rejected it for a few days. So don't give up on your little one, give them some time to get used to it. I would just set it on her high chair tray and let her decide what she wanted to do with it.
