Description of Range Safety Guard
30"w x 4"h x 1/4" Fits most 30" wide free standing ranges. Durable double wall metal construction with special powder coating that will withstand temperatures up to 400 degrees. The Double Wall design allows air to circulate through the hollow inner core. Easily attaches to the side of the range with special hook & loop fastener with a pulling pressure of 15lbs per side. Easy installation- no tools required - pull range out 2-3 inches to securely attach to the side of the range. Durable and attractive - wipes clean with a damp cloth. I haven't tried any other brands but based my purchase on Amazon reviews. This is an awesome child safety product. Installation is extremely simple. This product has not failed in any way. No difficulty with cooking with it in place, and I'm short. Am planning to order 3 of them for gifts for families who have just had their babies. I think the only issue for purchasers would be to make sure to measure the stove and that there is space on each side of the stove.
