I purchased two of these mattress pads two years ago for my son's crib. This pad is so easy to put on and take off the mattress. It fits a standard crib mattress PERFECTLY, and lays nice and flat. It washes up easily, and does NOT shrink! It's soft and durable, and it has NEVER leaked! Oh, and compared to many mattress pads that cost up to $19.99 each- this pad is a super deal!
I was so pleased with this product that I'd buy it all over again- and I will. We are expecting TWINS this spring, and I plan on purchasing two more mattress pads for our second crib!
I reccommend purchasing TWO for those middle of the night messes, that way you can change the sheets and pad in the middle of the night and not worry about washing the soiled pad till you wake up the next morning. :)

I love it. My 4th baby's diapers tend to leak frequently. This one absorbs it the best without pooling. It is soft, provides some padding, and is absorbent. My mattress is waterproof and pools. This pulls the moisture away from his body so when I discover it, he doesn't have a rash from the sheets and I don't have to get a towel to soak up the pool. It does not have that plastic feel. I put in the the wash and dryer with the rest of the baby clothes and it is still holding up well through 2 kids unlike the other ones I have had which lost some absorbancy. It fits my crib just like a regular sheet. It is also reasonably priced. I suggest having 2 so when you are washing one you can remake the crib. It is a necessity in my nursery.Customer Review: Great Product

I originally got two crib matress pads for my son's baby shower, this one and one from Target. This one has been going strong for almost two years now while the one from Target tore slightly the first time we used it and shredded completely within six months. Needless to say, when I replaced it I went right back to Babies R Us for another one of these. They are great not only for diaper leakage, but he also just got over his first stomach virus, and nothing leaked through. (And believe me, I changed a lot of sheets!) Another plus is that they are stretchy, so I was able to layer them over top of each other for easy middle of the night changing. I haven't had any problems with them pilling after two years either. The mattress pad protects the mattress just as well as more expensive pads, but it's not at all bulky. It lays smoothly, doesn't make any noise that we can hear under the sheet, and doesn't make the bed too cushiony for an infant. Acutally, it is so thin that shortly after we bought it, my husband forgot that he put it on the bed, checked the mattress to see if it was under the sheet (without fully removing the sheet), didn't feel it, thought he'd accidentally tossed it, and now we have two. Don't waste money on more expensive bulky pads.Customer Review: Very absorbent!

It's nice and soft and very absorbent. It also works well as a larger play area for when I let the baby play without her diaper on, to explore the full unencumbered range of her body's motion, until she pees. It'll absorb and spread out even a whole bunch of pee, without leaking through to the carpet or blanket beneath. Washes and tumble dries with all the rest of the baby stuff. It gives a nice touch of softness as a mattress pad under the crib sheet, a plus especially since babies must sleep on their backs with no pillows or blankets.
