Customer Review: Could use a little improvement
Summary: 3 Stars

When I first learned of this product, thought it was a great idea and decided to purchase this instead of the ultimate crib sheet. While I still think its a great idea, a couple of improvements that would make it much more useful.

The sheets are very thin, including the top zip on sheets. Not only for aesthetics do i wish the material was a bit thicker, but when it gets soiled, the mattress (or hopefully you have a waterproof mattress cover over it) underneath it also gets soiled. So you need to access the mattress anyways, as if you had a regular fitted sheet over it. It would be much more helpful if the zip on sheet had a waterproof underside to it so you really only need to replace that.

So I plan to purchase the ultimate crib sheet anyways and put that flat on the mattress then zip on the top sheet. The ultimate crib sheet doesn't go around your mattress but lies on top. That way when the quickzip sheet (and assuming the ultimate crib sheet gets soiled) i can just remove both without lifting up the mattress and replace. And there won't be any loose sheets on top.

Customer Review: Not quick or easy
Summary: 1 Stars

The concept behind these sheets is great. I ordered two sets and two extra sheets for my twins' cribs. I was excited to test them when they arrived, but was immediately disappointed. I read somewhere that you're supposed to be able to unzip the sheet with one hand. I imagined holding a baby in one arm and literally unzipping the sheet with the other. No, that's not how it works. The zipper is large and kept getting hung up at the corners of the mattress. It was impossible to turn a corner -- zipping or unzipping -- with one hand. I asked my taller, stronger husband to try it and he had the same problems. Also, the "pocket" where you tuck the zipper pull after the sheet is zipped on is difficult to maneuver. Even with two hands, trying to make it work was frustrating and leaning over the crib gave me a backache. I find it much easier and faster to use a regular sheet, even though it's necessary to lift the mattress up. The sheets are well-made and the fabric was thick and soft -- I will give them that. However, I returned everything because it all seemed like a big headache to me.

Customer Review: I liked these so much I purchased a new set for my 3rd child
Summary: 5 Stars

I first purchased these 5+ years ago with my first child and loved how much easier they were to change than a regular crib sheet. For those of you who already have had a baby, you know how often you end up changing sheets and how big of a pain it is to get a sheet in and out of a crib (you really have to take out the entire mattress). With these, the top just zips into place easily - you can even take them off easily with one hand while holding the baby if you need to. I've always had standard crib mattresses, and they fit my standard mattresses perfectly. Also, they are very soft. After using my original set + an extra top sheet with my first two children, they finally got grungy enough to purchase a new set. So, now with my third child, I'm purchasing them again since I was so pleased with them for my first two children. I highly recommend these sheets - definitely worth the extra cost.

Customer Review: Poor quality cotton fabric
Summary: 2 Stars

Because I sent the money, I am still using these sheets. It is much more convenient to change these sheets than a fitted sheet and my babies have leaky diapers or spit up regularly, so this is quite a time saver. However, the cotton sheet is poor quality and started pilling after the 2nd or third wash. Because my girls prefer to sleep on their stomachs I always worry that their faces are uncomfortable because the sheet has become scratchy. I have 4 of these sheets for our two cribs and one one of them is not pilling.

Customer Review: update...
Summary: 5 Stars

I wrote a review a couple of years ago for the blue gingham starter set for the Quick Zip sheets--glowing, of course. My kids have now moved up to bunk beds, and they are the WORST to change. I just contacted Clouds and Stars, the manufacturer of the Quick Zip sheets, and they sell twin-size quick zips on their website, and they'll be getting in full size at the end of February 2011. I will be first in line to buy them!
