Baby Products Reviews of Priori Convertible Car Seat - PenguinCustomer Review: Much Better than Britax Summary: 5 Stars
After using various Britax carseats for years, I ventured into the world of Maxi Cosi first because I wanted a safer infant carseat. After falling in love with the ease of use, installation, comfiness and high quality, I decided to try out the Priori for the 19 month old. WOW! Although it is bulkier than any of the Britax models, the slight inconvenience is more than made up for in the high degree of comfort that the Priori brings to the table. I love that I can adjust the tilt with ease when she falls asleep. The material wipes off easily and the cup holders are phenomenal! I'm a convert for sure!
Customer Review: Great for the kid, hard for the parents Summary: 3 Stars
Our daughter seems pretty enthusiastic about the car seat. It is adjustable and reclines which is great for when she falls asleep in the car. However, it is a 15 to 20 minute exercise to install it. The latch system does a poor job of securing the seat; you actually have to stand in the seat to get a tight fit. Once in the car and secure there are no problems or concerns about its safety. We used the Maxi Cosi infant car seat and were very happy with the ease of install and functionality so we were expecting more of the same.
Customer Review: great option for a medium sized seat Summary: 4 Stars
we bought this seat after the recaro signo proved far too large for our subaru outback. while this seat only goes to 40 lbs, i'll take that as a solution for now and be happy that i can see out my rearview mirror. the seat is comfortable and my 13 month old seems to like it a lot. others have complained about the difficulty with changing the height of the straps, but i found it easy. overall the seat does not seem as plush as her peg perego infant seat, but it feel safe and fits our car well.
Customer Review: Excellent baby seat (but there is one downside) Summary: 4 Stars
I raed the reviews of this seat and there is not much more to say about its quality. I disagree with the reviewer that said it was hard to secure. All baby seats are hard to secure, so in that regard this seat is no different.
The one downside to this seat is I think we will have to replace it sooner than some other models as its only rated up to 40 lbs.
Still this seat has gone in all my cars, on an airline, and everywhere in between. So it rocks!
Customer Review: Not as good as I thought it would be Summary: 2 Stars
I read on another site that this was comparable to the Britax Roundabout. I can say it's not. The straps are too short and it doesn't secure well in the car. We have had it checked and it still rocks from side to side when my son is in it. We did get the Roundabout for our other car and it is soooo much more secure and the straps work better.
