I have a 2006 Honda Pilot and tried to use this seat saver in the middle, which has 3 seats across at the widest point of the car. Unfortunately, the wonderful design of a wide curved base is too wide and thus slightly covers the other seat belts in the car.
If this was the only problem it wouldn't be too bad, because with some adult or older child maneuvering the seat belts CAN be used, BUT when putting this seat saver in the middle seat it blocks the one seat from folding/sliding to gain access to the back row of seats.
I would recommend this seat saver for the back of a standard sized vehicle where it would be used in the back without anyone trying to sit immediately next to it and not in a seat that you would need to access the back.

I bought this after my second child was born to protect our car's seats from the child seat. I have the original thin Prince Lionheart from my first child and love it. This one is so bulky with the built in lip that it got in the way of anyone having to sit next to it in the car. Also, the two part design causes so many problems as it constantly comes undone causing the top portion to slip down (thus defeating the purpose of protecting the seat).
It does catch spills, but the original thin seat saver does too and actually does a better job. I have just recently moved the original one under my younger child and discarded this one altogether. I will look for something else to put under my older child's seat.
I do not recommend this product.

Recently my husband and I purchased a Saab 9-5 wagon, our first car we bought together, and it is gorgeous, so we'd like to keep it that way. I wasn't even looking for a seat protector, I just happened to stumble upon this on Amazon, so after reading ALL the reviews for ALL of the seat protectors, I chose this one. No complaints! It's made of a thick, stiff "foam" to protect the leather seat from indents from our daughter's car seat. I very much appreciate the "kick guard" as well, as we have a kicker. :-) The seat protector wide and tall, so it's big enough to prevent indents from our "convertible" toddler/child car seat, the Eddie Bauer High Back Booster, 22-80 lbs, so we should get many years of use from this seat protector, so it's well worth the money.Customer Review: Great for those nice leather seats and crumb catcher too!

We bought this before our first since we had leather seats in the car at the time. We wanted to protect the leather from getting permanant dent marks from the car seats. This thing catches everything!!! We even had a few barfing accidents when he was almost a year old when the car seat didnt catch the mess, the seat protector did which in turn saved us from cleaning formula and gung from in between the back seats! This is also great for those runaway cracker crumbs and cheerios! We now have a different car without leather seats but we still using it to keep the seats a little neater from spills! Great product!
By the way, when we sold the car with the leather interior, you never would have known there was a baby car seat back there!

We just bought a new SUV and didn't want the seats looking like the ones in our old SUV. When I went to clean the car to be traded in, I about fell over.....and I just cleaned it not that long ago. There were crumbs all over, spots on the seat, and the depressions that car seats leave on your interior are not very nice to look at. We eat a lot on the run to extra curricular activities so not eating in the new vehicle is pretty much out of the question. We installed this protector with no problems. It fit perfectly and actually the booster seat does NOT slide as much as it did before we bought the protector. The LATCH works great with it, so does a seatbelt. I'm getting ready to buy another one when the baby arrives next month!!!
