This is the ONLY bottle that my Daughter has ever really cared for. The other one's had odd nipples that she didn't like or they gave her bad gas. I love the liners because they really help to avoid the air which leads to gas and fussiness.
Another plus..she didn't get confused between this bottle and the breast at all when I was breastfeeding!
I just wish they made the bottles to hold more formula. I know they say the bottles are 8 oz but on the side of the bottle it only goes up to 6 oz. If you measure 8 oz and pour it into the bottle there is no room to shake your formula. That is the ONLY drawback though.

The Playtex Nurser system works great for my breast fed son. Though he still nurses at night I began using these bottles during the day when he was nearly two weeks old. He had no problem with the transition between breast and bottle. The only difference I've noticed is that he eats much faster when taking the bottle and I make a point to burp him after every two ounces to prevent tummy aches. The Playtex system is sooo easy to use and clean. The Drop-In liners are a breeze and make for easy travel and clean up. The liners can be expensive but there are other brands on the market (Target, Walmart). I stick with the Playtex liners as I've had trouble with the Target liners leaking. I've been impressed with these bottles and will continue to use them. I do recommend only buying the 8 oz. bottles however because they "outgrow" the 4 oz bottles so quickly! My son was up to 5 oz by four weeks of age! Customer Review: Buy this system FIRST and save yourself money and hassle!

We started out using the Avent bottles with our daughter while I was still breastfeeding. The Avent nipple is very stiff, and as a newborn, our daughter had a hard time with it - she would be drenched in milk after feedings, and had a lot of gas.
Then we tried Dr Browns. Not only were they no better, but then we were cleaning all the tedious little pieces of the bottles - what a pain!
So we tried the Ventaire bottles. The baby wasn't quite as gassy, but the nipple still wasn't right - a lot of milk would pour down her chin and she would be soaked. (And when you are pumping breastmilk, every drop that doesn't go into the baby's mouth is a tragic waste!)
FINALLY after chatting with a Mom who was happily using the disposable nursers, we tried them. I was thrilled to find that Playtex offers nipples in several different shapes and materials - we bought the starter set and tried out the different nipples. We ended up using the silicon natural fast flow nipple, and our daughter has been happy and thriving for 4 months on it.
DO YOURSELF A FAVOR! Try this system first. There are other benefits to using the disposables (presterilized liners, fewer pieces to wash and sterilize, they heat much faster, they collapse as baby is drinking, so less air gets into baby's system) but the bottom line is that you can customize the nipple for your baby without having to buy a whole new bottle system, which I wish I knew from the beginning!

I adore these bottles. My husband and I have used these for three children. Reasons I love these bottles:
1. For people who don't have a dishwasher (we didn't with our first child)sterilizing bottles is a real chore. The liners in the Playtex bottles come sterilized. It made me feel better and the bottles felt cleaner.
2. The bottle shape is perfect for all little hands to grip around unlike the Avent brand which are just huge for them to hold.
3. For breast fed little ones I am convinced that the nipple choices give Moms many choices to prevent nipple confusion. I had two children who breastfed and both could switch successfully between the Playtex nurser and the breast without problems.
4. They are sturdy and the new design is simple and stylish.
5. They adapt perfectly with the Playtex breast milk storage system.

I breastfed and formula fed my baby for the first 5 weeks. My baby did not fuss at all when I offered her these type of nipples (compared to the breast). I also tried the Dr. Brown's, Gerber and Evenflo and she did not like them at all. I think because the base of the nipple was not as big as the Playtex nipples. Anyhow, it is very convenient for at home use. It is not convenient when you are out and about. You still need to have some type of regular bottle. I found that out the hard way. Something in my diaper bag punctured the plastic liner and the formula got all over my brand new diaper bag. I suggest the Playtex ventair system for a regular bottle because it has the same basic nipple shape. Overall I think Playtex has the best bottles and nipples.
