The Playtex nurser and the storage kit are the first thing I tried on my baby when I decided to introduce the bottle to my daugther. It looked so convenient because the drop-in liner is preformed and you don't have to deal with twisting and folding those regular storage bags. It also worked great with my Medela pump. I bought two sets so I would have extra storage and one extra converter in case I want to pump both breasts at the same time. By the way, I tried Avent and Gerber bottles but my daughter likes the Playtex nurser the best and she is not confused about switching from bottle to breast.Customer Review: Does not work with Avent pumps

I bought this kit because I have been using an Avent pump and pouring the milk into the Playtex system (a pain which kind of defeats the purpose of having a pre-sterilized system, but the pump makes me happy and the Playtex nurser makes my baby happy). I bought this kit excited that I could use the adapter and just pump straight into the Playtex drop-ins. However, it is only ever mentioned in small print on the box that the adapter does not work with Avent and First Years pumps. Since these are two popular brands, I wish they'd note that on the Amazon site and more prominently on the box!Customer Review: Wish I had found this system sooner!

The only bottles my daughter would take were the Playtex Original Nursers. I am pumping at work with a Medela Pump in Style, so I was pumping into the Medela bottles and then we were transfering the milk into the Playtex Drop-ins to feed her. It was a hassle and I never felt like all of the milk, especially the fat, made it from the Medela bottles into the Drop-ins. And then I heard about this kit and bought two immediately - I have been so happy with being able to pump directly into the Drop-ins. The only downside: you have to buy at least two kits if you double pump.Customer Review: easy to use but flawed idea

I have this set and although it's easy to use with my Medela pumps (electric and manual), I rarely use it unless all my bottles are full, because you can't see the top of the bag to know when to safely stop pumping without overfilling. Thus I can't pump as much in one session as I do with storage bottles, unless I stop and change out the bag. You end up only filling each one 2/3-3/4 full and use up more bags this way. I do love the drop-ins system and that's what I use to feed baby when I'm away from her, but I pump into bottles, not into this set.Customer Review: It works but takes up too much space

I am a full time working mom and I pump every day. The storage system functions well but takes up too much space in the freezer. I have a chest freezer that is currently half full of nothing but stored breastmilk in the Lansinoh storage bags because they store flat. I wouldn't have nearly enough room for the playtex ones and for the cost I wouldn't be able to afford that many lids.
It is a great idea though. I am hoping I will use the supplies more when I stay at home with baby #2 and I am not pumping every day.
