Singleton mama's pump half the milk as twin mama's. The playtex adaptors resolve some serious logistics issues and make life easier. When a twin mama pumps for 10 - 15 minutes, out comes 12 - 16 ounces, so you would fill 4 of those little 4 ounce bottles! Not only do you ahve to stop pumping and switch half way through, but you have to store and combine twice the bottles! Ugh! I got tired of it all and went searching for a solution.
I wanted a way to pump into a container that would hold everything that came out of each breast. I needed to pump into something that would hold 8 ounces. And I discovered these and loved them!

I'm using an Ameda Purely Yours pump and the adapter fits perfectly and makes pumping so much easier. Before I found this, I would pump into the bottles provided with my pump, then pour into a storage bag to freeze, and then have to thaw it out and pour into a bottle...talk about a pain...not to mention the nutrients that are being left behind with all of the transfers! Now, I just pump into the drop-ins (it helps to use with a bottle attached, so that if you need to stop in the middle of pumping and you can stand it up) and either freeze or refrigerate. Also, the adapter ring enables me to pump directly into Playtex reusable bottles!Customer Review: Great accessory for the Playtex Embrace!

I purchased this at the same time I purchased the Playtex Embrace Pump. I love the kit! However, I see the down side to the other reviewers problems. If you are thinking of purchasing the Embrace, this is a must have. You will NOT need to purchase two kits to begin with because Platex makes the pump AND this kit and the pieces all fit together...no adapter necessary. This will give you additional freezer storage capabilities, but only 4 liners at a time. (the reason for only 4 stars). I see where the cost could add up for anyone not using the Playtex pump, but as far as ease of use...with the Embrace...it's a piece of cake!Customer Review: People, come on!

I keep reading about the cost complaints but dang bebe's cost money and storing milk is expensive if you want conveniece. I love this storage system and have had NO problems and it is not messy nor clumsy. You just pump, close the lid and toss in the fridge or freezer and when you are ready you warm in running water and pop it into the Nurser system bottles (which are latch on friendly) and voila. We are moving. The liners are tough and there are 4 AND 8 oz liners. Sure you need a few boxes if you are a working mother and double pump, but hey that is the sacrifice for feeding your baby the best you can.Customer Review: Playtex One Step Storage Kit

I really like using the Playtex One Step storage kit becasue I can pump breast milk right into it, freeze, store it, defrost it and give it to my son when needed without having to switch from storage bottle to nursing bottle (lessening the chances of contaminating the breast milk). The only thing I don't like about the One-Step is that they don't give you enough Liner Rings, Sealing Disks and Bottle Rings to save more than 4 milk storage (because one kit come with 4 of each liner ring, sealing disk and bottle ring). Also, you can't buy more liner rings, sealing disks, and bottle rings at the store.
