I like the angled shape idea of the bottle and the colors, that's it! If your child is drinking just 4 oz, the stage 1 nipple is appropriate. However, when your baby is drinking more than 4 oz you need to throw these bottles away. When you switch nipples to a stage 2, the milk flow is extremly fast because the opening is so---- large they choke and get gass! They don't sell medium flow nipples, it's either slow or fast. So, you end up like me and spend more money and time buying different bottles, ones that your child can grow with. Plus, when you use a warmer with these the humidity/condensation build up from it's vent system on the bottom is EXTREMLY HOT! I already had some drip on my daughter's leg that almost burned her, which other bottles don't do. I love the Dr. Brown's bottles, and are very happy with them.Customer Review: Great Bottles

I used these with my now 3 year old b/g twins and my now 8 month old b/b twins. My boys still use these, though now we also mix in some other cheaper bottles and use these mainly for bedtime. They really were easier to clean, because food didnt get stuck on the bottom, and they really kept the gas at bay. My sons still nurse occasionally and get breastmilk, and they will take ANY bottle nipple, but for a while this was the ONLY one they would take, so I consider it their favorite. These bottles are really easy to use, and they are, in fact easier to clean! They fit in my Avent bottle sterilizer and they are a nice shape to get the milk easier. I recomend these for all new moms. Though there are many parts, they work MUCH better than the avents and live up to their word that they make gas much less frequent and a problem.Customer Review: They use to be good, Not any more

I used these type of bottles several years ago and had no problems except they would leak out of the bottom if the disk was not put in correctly. However, since they have redesigned them, they are not very good. The bottle itself works good, but the nipples are horrible. The stage 1 nipple, the hole is so small that my newborn was having to suck so hard that it would put him to sleep with out eating very much. I changed the nipples to the stage 2 and now the milk comes out to fast for the baby, so he would start to gag while sucking on these bottles. I have changed bottle systems for his regular bottles and use these bottles when I add cereal in his formula. Since it makes the formula thicker, my baby doesn't gag when he uses these bottles. I would suggest using these bottles only if the baby is older, approx. 3 months.Customer Review: Great, at first

My daughter had terrible gas pain problems when she was firt born so my wife and I decided to try these bottles to see if they would help. They worked wonders for her, we absolutely loved them, until now. 3 months after purchasing them they are now leaking all over the place. It doesn't matter how you put them back together they still leak. After calling Playtex to complain they explained to me that the flow-thru vents are only supposed to last about 2-3 months. To me this is completely unacceptable. How can they manufacture a baby product that is only supposed to last 2-3 months when she will continue to be bottle-fed for much longer than that? What's worse is you can't buy the vents in the store, you have to order them from Playtex directly. I will most definitely not be purchasing these again.Customer Review: Bye bye, Dr. Brown

I have been using Dr. Brown's bottles since my 7 month old was born and they have been great at reducing bubbles in my son's bottles and he hardly ever spits up. I hated having to clean all the parts though. You even need a special tiny brush to clean out the straw inside the bottle. But, I put up with the inconvenience because they were such great bottles. Then, I joined BzzAgent.com and was sent a couple of these Playtex Ventaire bottles to try. I am in love! They are super easy to use and even easier to clean. The best part is that they are just as effective at reducing bubbles and they are cheaper, more user-friendly, and come in cute colors! I see no need to spend three times as much on Dr. Brown's when these are just as good and allow me to play with my baby instead of washing bottles all day.
