Baby Products Reviews of Philips Avent Digital Baby Monitor with Zero-Interference DECT TechnologyCustomer Review: No major complaints. Summary: 3 Stars
This is the only one I've tried. There is NO interference. I've got computers, cell phones, all my home phones are portable. No interference. It needs some work on volume though. But it does have a volume light that goes off as the noise is occurring. I like it. Won't send it back, but it does need to be a bit louder.
Customer Review: Great baby monitor Summary: 5 Stars
This is a great baby monitor. We had a problem charging the batteries initially, it turned out the batteries Phillips provided were bad. Not only did they send replacement batteries, they sent us two additional charging bases for free. Our baby monitor has more charging bases than yours and we are better than you.
Customer Review: It works. Period. Summary: 5 Stars
This is the first baby monitor I own that delivers on its promises. The battery will last through the night provided you set the sensitivity above the threshold of background noise. This way, it will only transmit when something happens. And this is the whole point of this monitor: no humming and cracking noises.
Customer Review: Poor battery performance Summary: 2 Stars
I followed exactly what the manual told on Battery charging but like most of us, got a very poor performance for battery even when unit just turns on less than 25% of time.
Other than the fact I have to carry the power cord around, it is really a good monitor on features, etc.
Customer Review: No battery life, volume needs to be higher. Summary: 1 Stars
Although there is no interference at all, I would not buy this product again. It is not worth the price as the battery life is about 2 hours and it needs to stay on the stand charging to use it at all. The volume on this is way too low and there isn't anything you can do about it.
