The Philips Avent Sterilizer is an excellent product while it works. Ours lasted about 9 months of daily use. While it functioned, it would allow us to sterlize bottles in less than 3 minutes and keep them sterilized for up to 3 hours. It was so easy to use that we even brought it with us on vacation so that we would not have to worry about sterilizing on the go. The instructions were easy to understand and I believe the product worked well.
My only real gripe is that it died so fast. For the price of the item, it seemed it should have been made of better quality. I have purchased many Philips products and this is one of the first that didn't last an extended period. Having said this, I would still buy again knowing that it is useful while in operation.

Very easy to use and save your time. The entire process takes 6 minuts and use only 3oz of purified water. When the sterilizer is done, it'll notify you. If we forget to add water, the beep sound will warn you (we love this feature) We forgot to add water to the micrewave steriler and Medela freezer caps were melted. We were terrified and replaced all bottles, nipples everything due to the plastic concern. The steam makes everything clean perfectly. We use Dr. Brown & BornFree wide neck bottles. They fit in the racks very well. We stack up everything the way we like and don't worry the design of the racks. My baby is 5 month old and the sterilizer is working very well. We find the best price at Amazon. Highly recommend it for the first time parents!!Customer Review: So convenient!

At first I thought this was a pretty pricey way to sterilize bottles, but it's just so convenient that I really think it's worth it. Babies take up a LOT of time and being able to just pop the bottles in here to sterilize really saves a lot of time and hassle. This does not come with bottles, and of course they want you to buy their bottles, but other bottles will fit too. It'll also hold your breast pump and pacifiers too, which is great! This would make a great gift and any new mom would appreciate it.Customer Review: LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS!!!

I absolutely LOVE this product!! It gives me peace of mind knowing that there's no germs or anything on my son's bottles when I take them out & prepare them for his milk! I wash all bottles in warm soapy water then rinse them & stick them in the sterilizer! Once they're done & I'm ready to make bottles, I make all 6 bottles to prepare for the night & the next day! It's great to have this & not worry about food particles from your dishwasher getting on the bottles or worrying about if you washed them good enough in the hot water!! Yeah sure you could boil them but you have to wait for the water to boil & have a pot big enough to do the larger bottles! Six-minute sterilization is a welcomed luxury, particularly for those with more than one infant. The unit features a 24-hour continuous sterilization option so that a clean bottle is always available. Beats have to boil and reboil.
The convenience is a bit pricey considering boiling does the job. I recommend this product as a luxury item.
I highly recommend this product for those with more than one infant & a busy schedule.
