I originally had an Avent Isis pump and had tons of the regular 4 oz containers/bottles. My Avent pump broke after one month and I switched to Medela Pump in Style, however my daughter preferred the Avent bottles. Now with baby #2, I am collecting in Medela and freezing in these Avent. These are much cheaper than what I paid for the bottles (they are designed to be reuseable or disposable as you wish) and have an attachment so it can screw on the Isis pump or you can use to feed with nipple. Best of all these are made to stack, so more room in the freezer. Now if I could only screw Avent container on Medela pump.......Customer Review: The Best Thing I ever bought for my first born

As a first time mom, I did a lot of buying - trial and error way... By fat this is the best investment that I have ever made.
Used as breast milk storage at first. As my child grew, thus his needs changes, this container evolved as well and did wonders. This has become food containers now that my child is a toddler, I use them as his training cup, then for cereals, biscuits, fruits.. anything!
I love, love this product... getting more!

We couldn't live without these. The bags were just too difficult. I don't understand how some people have trouble with the lids when they always work for me, but when I tried using bags I would drop them and make a mess. The pros are: stackable, pre-sterilized, easy to handle. The cons are the cost. I use a Medela pump and just pour into these and stack them in the freezer. I use a permanent marker to write the date. There are 3 lines for dates. You cross off and enter the next one. After the third use, you know to throw them out. In between uses I sterilize in the Avent Microwave Steamer. After all the news on BPA came out, my husband and I went searching for bottles and breastmilk storage options that were BPA free. The Avent Vias are great. They don't stack as well in the freezer as I would like but knowing my baby isn't getting BPA makes it worth it. The feature I like the best is being able to connect the adapter to the container, then an O-ring and nipple and be able to feed directly without having to transfer milk to a different container. This does make them difficult to transport, but that's what we use the Gerber bottles for and keep the Vias for home use. These are great!Customer Review: I Love These

I love these. I hated the bags because they always seemed to leak and I could never get them to stand up in the freezer so I wouldn't have frozen milk all over the place. When the bags did leak the bag would stick to the freezer and I wouldn't be able to use the milk anyway. I bought these when I had my second child and have used them mainly to store milk but have also used them during feedings. I have not had any trouble with them leaking. As for the problem with writing and marking off on the container I went to office depot and bought labels which I can peel off after it has been used.
