I have six kids, I used Avent bottles for Baby number five on and off from birth to 1 year. The 4oz and 8oz lids/bottles are not interchangeable, making it a complete pain when washing or cleaning them, because if you get the wrong one put together, it leaks everywhere, you may think you have it right, just to find out a few minutes later your darling baby has milk leaking all over them. I loved the small size of the 4 oz enough to bare through the pain, and I loved the 9oz size of the bigger bottles enough, to keep using them as well, I just had to be very careful. The nipple flows were perfect, we used size 1 until 9 months then went to size 2, anything over that just has to fast a flow in my opinion. We never had a problem with nipples collapsing, however if you do have this issue, in my experience a faster flow can help, hope this helps :D

This is a great Avent bottle set at a great price! I had the "leaky" bottle frustration at first and thought these were terrible bottles and then my husband figure out the trick! No need to line up the nipple to anything particular or do any hocus pocus... just DON'T over tighten when you screw on the ring to the bottle! Seriously, it's been a dream since we've figured it out. We particularly like this bottle b/c unlike other bottles (Dr. Brown, Born-free, Playtex Ventaire) there are only three parts really: the bottle, nipple and ring --- great for quick clean up. The brush is also great, I like it much better than the traditional circular brush. The nipple cleaner is at the end of the brush handle and is really convenient and it's nice that it is not a separate piece. Totally recommend this bottle at this price... extra bonus if you have Prime. The dispenser is the only thing that is not that great. Go w/ Munchkin for the formula dispenser.Customer Review: Please don't buy

I bought this set because 1) I had purchased Avent breast pump and wanted to be all matchy matchy 2) the bottle design is aesthetically pleasing. The only thing I like about these bottles is that they are easy to clean - there's a nipple, the bottle itself and the ring that holds the nipple on the bottle. I would never purchase avent bottles again, because they LEAK LEAK LEAK. They don't do it on a consistent basis either. Sneaky leaky, as another reviewer pointed out. Just when you think you got it, you find yourself spilling breast milk or formula, all over the floor, furniture, and your baby. Seriously, I saw the negative reviews but got swayed by the positive ones. I thought I might be the one that will not have that problem, but I was. Yes, you can spent hours finessing the art of tightening the tops to the bottoms on avent bottles, but when it's night and your baby is screaming his head off, I am telling you - it's not fun!Customer Review: Leaking problem... what a shame!!!

I used Avent baby bottle almost nine years ago with my first kid, and it was a great experience. For that reason, last year when we were buying everything for our new baby, without any doubt we chose same brand. As we were more concerned, we decided to buy the BPA free bottle. At first, the leaking problem started, I thought that I did not closed them well. After, many times of getting empties bottles or leaked problems in the dipper bag with everything wet (and a hungry crying baby), I suspected that definitly was a bottles problem. I searched in Internet and I got surprised about so many people had same problem. Next step, I try every trick that the users the recommended after I noticed that there was not a official information in Avent website. Few weeks later, I gave up, and I bougth new different brand (Playtex drop in) baby bottles and I still using it. I hope Avent can solve that problem soon.Customer Review: Awesome Bottles

I have no clue why people are saying these bottles leak!
They are obviously not using them right.
These are by far the best bottles offered. My sister used Avent bottles for all four of her children, which is why I decided to go with them. I explained to her that people were saying that the "bottles leak," and told me that they just were not using them right. When helping her take of my niece, I remember how great these bottles were, especially for ladies who are breastfeeding because they mimic the real thing. The bottles never leaked if you put the nipple on correctly. The shape of the bottle, the nipples, and the overall design are really good. The Dr. Browns have too many parts and the nipples are too narrow. Nothing compares to Avent.
Also the Avent Bottle Warmer iQ is amazing and works like a charm. All products work together perfectly.
