I really liked the idea of the Avent bottles, because I really do feel they helped with my sons gas problems. I just could not get the darn things to not leak! I purchased 6 of these bottles and gave them away about 2 weeks after I got them. I use the cheap bottles now, and have no problems. I used Advent baby bottles for my first kid and thought they may make the same good quality product. Hence, I bought 3 of this item when it was on sale. The bottles are brand new. However, some of them leak if I don't close the cap EXTREMELY tight as comparing the tightness I put on the older version, which is the non BPA free bottle.Customer Review: Best Bottles We've Found!

We tried the Dr. Brown's and found that our son choked on the fast flow. The AVENT bottles are also BPA free are more durable, flow more naturally, and the nipple shape is more advantageous for both breast-feeding and bottle-feeding babies. We love them. I'm very glad that Avent has BPA free bottles available as I really like how easy they are to clean. However, I am disappointed that the baby bottle manufacturers have taken the opportunity to gouge its consumers. I don't want to buy glass bottles, and these BPA free bottles cost almost 3 times as much as the original ones.Customer Review: glad I bought these

I use these bottles in conjunction with the 4oz bottles, even though my baby only drinks 4-6 oz. so far. These are not overly big and they work with the accessories that come with the Avent pump. Like all the Avent products so far. Just need to buy a couple of the bigger size nipples as baby grows.
