Customer Review: Wobbly, but the safe space is there...

I haven't had a bad experience with the fact that the extension made the Superyard wobbly so far. I got the basic play yard when my infant was 6 mos old. As she became more agile, pulling herself up to standing and crawling more, I purchased the extension two months later.
Overall, the unit has been good.
I live in an apartment and there are hazards to avoid. (ie fireplace, balcony, wall heater, etc.) This was the near perfect solution to allow her the space for extended play and exercise.
The baby has learned and made adjustments to compensate for the wobbliness, which at first would cause her to lose her balance when she would bring herself to standing by holding on to the gate.
She plays for usually up to an hour per entrance with her toys. With a video monitor and physical checks every 10 minutes or so, I feel confident that she is mostly safe from harm. I climb inside and play with her and her toys often by just carefully stepping over it. I did also add the rubber floor mat as well and recommend it in case of inevitable falls.

my wife and i purchased the superyard fence for our living room because our baby girl kept crawling over and exploring all of daddy's electronics. the fence is great it is moldable to any shape for your living space or room. with the extra panels you can make the area big enough for you and your baby to play inside. it is great piece of mind to know that if you take your eye off your kid for a second to answer the phone or doorbell that they are in a safe space and can't get into anything. it has also helped in my baby in standing up. she uses the fence to pull herself up and stand and play watching us. it is definitely a limited use fence and not a babysitter for you to run off an leave your child but it is a nice product if used properly. we have been very happy with ours.Customer Review: Love this gate system

I bought the whole superyard play yard kit and absolutely loved it. The extra extensions you can buy for it are great. I have it set up in a living room to keep my son from getting near my entertainment center and leaving my living room. I found it to be very durable and sturdy. When my son was younger it worked great as a place for him to play in. As he got a little older and became more mobile I set the play yard up in my living room to keep him from getting close to my television set. You can bend the pieces to form almost any design you choose. I would say that if you child is getting close to 3 years old not to buy this though. It's sturdy but probably not for that age. It can also be used as a place to put your pet in and can be used outside. I'd recommend this highly.Customer Review: Love this product!

I bought this product because although I am not a single parent, with my husband working primarily overseas I live very much like one and needed a way to be able to mow the lawn, work out, or just plain relax with out having to stress out that my 10 month old was into EVERYTHING or have to hire out a baby sitter! I can take her outside with me without the worry of her wondering into the street or getting knocked down by our 2 "meaty boy" dogs. This is the answer to my prayers. It's big enough that she doesn't mind being in it with her toys and sturdy enough that she can't pull it down. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!It's light enough that I can take it anywhere I need and the extention pieces for it make it large enough that my sister's 2 year old loves it too!!!Customer Review: Allows a lot more space!

I got this extention with my playyard because i didnt feel the playyard itself would be big enough for my daughter to crawl freely around and really explore anymore than her pack n play did. plus, i wanted to be able to sit with her and play with her while she could freely move around. with this extension, we have PLENTY of room for BOTH of us and her toys...my 50lb hound dog even joined us at one point! the playyard itself was enough for the two of us, but barely. i definitely recommend getting this extention with the playyard.
i can see where it would also allow room for puppies to roam around and even have the mama dog there, too! VERY nice!
