This product was excellent ... for the first week. Then my 20 month old daughter tried to open the fridge and the latch just snapped off. I have now purchased a new lock from wal-mart with 3mm tape on the back and it works great. This latch is a waste of money. It's purpose is to keep kids out and it failed miserably.
