We bought this tub after our son outgrew his standard baby tub because we were nervous about putting him in our deep jetted bathtub. It's been a great item and our son LOVES his baths more than ever. The way the tub is designed works out perfectly for our wiggly toddler - it "holds" him in place so that he doesn't slip under. The drain is my only complaint - we use this tub by placing it in our "adult" tub and the way the drain is situated we have to lift the Eurotub slightly to get it to drain (or place something under it to prop it up) -also: the drain cap should've been designed to open in the other direction so the natural water flow when draining wouldn't close the cap so easily. Two tiny prices to pay for a great tub - I would definitely recommend it and I would purchase it again.Customer Review: Great tub!

We purchased this tub in transparent blue. At first sight it seems HUGE. It's because the tub has two "sides". One for infants who need to lay reclined, and the other is for older babies/toddlers who can sit up with minimal or no support. Other reviews state that the drain is slow, but I wouldn't know....I use the tub inside our regular bath tub and dump it when we're finished. Our tub is stored hung on a nail on the bathroom door or turned over in the big tub. It's very ergonomic for baby and allows whoever is bathing baby to use both hands for washing. Have been using this tub for about four months and have NO complaints. Sturdy, easy to clean, easy to store, and my baby loves it! It also matches our blue themed bathroom quite nicely. This is the best baby bath tub out there. It is large, taking up a good amount of space, but when hung on the wall (there is a hole in the top rim of the tub for this very use) it's simple to take down and set up and then give baby a bath. We've used it in two of the homes we've lived in, and it's worked great in both. I used it on the kitchen counter in our small condo (as we didn't have much space anywhere else) and then I used it on the large bathroom counter in our townhouse.
I tried that sponge shape for our first son in the regular bathtub and that really hurt my back (and he didn't like lying down in the water). This keeps baby's head elevated even when he can't support it; but baby can sit up on his own later in the other end... Win win!

I LOVE this bathtub! I had tried another bathtub when my son was an infant and ended up giving it away when he was 4 months old because he no longer fit in it even though it was supposed to last through at least a year old. I replaced it with this one and he used it up until he was 2! One side is inclined nicely for when they have grown out of a sling but still can't sit well unassisted. The other side has a molded "stop" if that's how I can describe it. It fits the mold of their butts and helps them to stay seated without slipping and sliding. I loved this bathtub so much that I just bought a second one for my daughter who is coming in June! (My son is 4, I don't still have his old one lying around, hence the need to re-purchase.)Customer Review: not for an infant

I ordered this for my newborn baby...and by chance, a friend also sent a tub as a gift. I found when I unwrapped the two tubs, that this one is not for a newborn (it's rather large, and doesn't provide a comfortable support for the head, it's just bare plastic), but the other one - a 'learningcurve' bath - is much better for a newborn: smaller, and containing a special little sling/hammock that supports a tiny baby very well, and a padded support for the head for the slightly older infant. So now I plan on using the smaller one till she grows out of it and then moving her on to this tub when she can hold her head up.
Don't buy this tub for a newborn..or any infant. When she is able to use it, I'll review it again.
