Customer Review: The only tub you'll need from baby to toddler - seriously.
Summary: 5 Stars

We still use this tub for my daughter at 2 1/2, 30 lbs and 37" tall, and have used it since birth.

It is so RARE for a "convertible" baby-to-toddler product to actually pan out in real life that I just had to review this.

The molded shape of this tub is just perfect, and thinks of everything! The slanted part is such that we still use it to wash my daughter's hair even as a large toddler. It seems to be very comfortable between the crotch as she's never complained, and sits relaxed reclined or upright. As a baby, she was cradled, secure and very happy.

I love everything about this tub, especially its' large size. Some reviewers complain about this, but I look at it this way: we have a tub/shower, and put this bath tub into our bathtub to bathe our daughter. If I had to scrub out our tub every night to get it clean enough for her, that would be a huge pain! Given this tub's large size, I can (now that she's too big to ever slip under) fill it up to the top, and she's got warm water and suds up to her mid-chest, without any risk of her falling under as with an adult tub. To me, this is a much more pleasant bath than sitting in the adult tub as a toddler in only a few inches of water. If you put more water into an adult tub, we've found our toddler slips around too much and feels insecure, even with a mat.

Cleaning this tub is a snap. No nooks and crannies for gunk to accumulate. The rubber drain is the only place where we get some mildew, but it pops right out for easy cleaning and reinserts just as easily. I use a Seventh Generation cleaner with a hydrogen peroxide active ingredient.

Durability is fabulous: We actually never drain the tub with the drain, but lift it and spill the water out. Even with a full tub, in 2.5 years we've never had a crack.

I love this tub so much, we bought two more - one for Grandma and Grandad's in each state! For $25, this is a slam dunk in all respects.

Customer Review: The Best Tub!
Summary: 5 Stars

My son has reflux, and, likes to stretch his body out when bathing. He was uncomfortable in, and had major meltdowns anytime I tried the traditional baby tub we have (for the record, it was also highly rated, but not a fit for my son). I was using a bathing seat, which worked well, until he grew too long for it. The down side was having to fill an adult bath tub with so much water which felt like a huge waste. And, it was hard to have to hold him with one arm and only have one other arm for use.

The PRIMO EuroBath is fantastic! I researched several options online and what has me convinced it's the best is:
1) It is extra long, which will allow me to bathe my son in it for much longer;
2) I don't have to fill an adult bath tub to bathe him - this one holds plenty of water to cover his tummy and keep him warm without being too wasteful;
3) Because of the fitted seat, I can use both arms to bathe and play with him and he doesn't slide as easily because there is a part that curves up at the crotch to stabilize him;
4) The plastic is a little hard on his head and back, but I just use an adult towel folded a few times to cushion him. He is comfortable and can kick and splash;
5) This is more of a reclining seat, which is much better for the reflux, as opposed to the severely angled seats that traditional baby tubs have.

Some Drawbacks:
1) It does drain slowly, but I never noticed it as being a huge issue;
2) It is a very large tub that takes up a lot of space. My solution is to leave it in our tub/shower until we need to shower. We then just set it against the wall or on the floor until we are done with our showers.

The Pros definitely outweigh the Cons!

Customer Review: UNBELIEVABLY wonderful tub
Summary: 5 Stars

I cannot describe sufficiently to all of you reading this review how wonderful this tub is. Other tubs for sale insist they are the best tubs around, but OH, BOY--are they WRONG!!!!! My fourth child, the largest of all topping off at 10 pounds, fit in this tub from birth. I bought this thinking, 'I might as well try ANOTHER tub I'm likely going to be disappointed in...' and ended up singing its praises to all my mother-friends. The upper shape fits a newborn well, and leaves room for any bath accouterments at the lower part. The upper section continues to "cradle" the baby for many months, as does the lower for the toys/washcloths. During the sitting-up phase, this tub kept making a believer out of me. The deep shape kept him in without my having to keep my hand on him at all times. Fast-forward to present, and he still takes a bath in it--he just turned two last weekend, and he is in the 105th percentile for height (is there such a thing??)! The storage problem is indeed a hassle, since it can't be kept in the large tub if there are showering people in the house. It's one of those things you just put up with. The drain is horribly slow, but I ended up putting more warm water in it for rinsing once the water got a bit cold during draining. Eventually, I just held him up for a quick rinse and flipped over the tub, leaving it upside-down to drip-drain against the side of the tub overnight. My other kids (grade school-aged) know to lean it against the wall the next day until all are finished, then it's the toddler's turn! It is a relief not having to wash out the main tub every single day for him after the others have showered. We are going to use that thing until that kid can't be stuffed in it anymore!

Customer Review: BEST TUB EVER
Summary: 5 Stars

I wish we would have had this from the beginning. My daughter was a preemie so it was difficult sometimes to find things that worked for her. The first tub we had, she was constantly sliding down the incline and to the sides, even while being supported by our hand. Was just so difficult to bath her. When she was able to sit unsupported, her tub converted to a tub chair and we tried that. Because she was so small, even with very little water in the tub she just floated in the chair making it very difficult to bath her and scary that she would slip enough and get hurt. Even though we knew she would not need it for much longer, I looked for a different tub. Had to find one that was large enough because she longer than most of the kids in her weight range. When I found the Primo tub, read the reviews and saw the photos, we decided to give it a try. This was the best thing ever. The incline was great for bathing her and even as bigger kid it held her securely regardless how much she kicked and splashed. The deeper side was perfect for her to sit up in and play without fear of her sliding under. It was truly one of the best products we used. The tub's design is completely smooth which allows easy cleaning. It also has a drain hole and plug which was great for bathing her, draining the soapy/dirty water and refilling with fresh water for her to play...without having to take her out of the tub. It is a larger tub, which may be difficult to store but that is only a minor draw back and the benefits more than make up for it (we always just stood it in the corner against the wall). After the very first bath in the Primo tub my husband and I both commented that we wished we would have had it from the beginning.

Customer Review: Love it!
Summary: 5 Stars

I read all the reviews on this tub probably a year ago and I HAD to have it. It is expensive to have shipped so I went to a store that carries it to buy it ($25 total). It was WORTH IT. My daughter is now 6 months old and we almost always bathe her in it. I got a cheap bathing sponge to add to the sloped infant side of the tub, and it's perfect. She can lay there without falling. This was true when she was 2 weeks old, and it's true now. She only ever cried when we took her out of it. She can kick and splash with no problem. Even now my daughter is kind of lazy about bath time, she doesn't like to sit up (although she can), so we continue to use the infant side. Sometimes she does enjoy sitting up to splash with her hands, and if she wants to, we can just switch her to the other side. I have plenty of room in my guest/kids bath for this tub on the counter, and room underneath the counter to store it. If you don't have a lot of counter/storage space you may not like this tub as much but it is just perfect for us. We plan to keep it and use it for as long as we can.

Update: My daughter is now past 10 months and STILL using this tub. She sits up on the older baby side now. She loves to splash and play and it has plenty of room for that. She has tried to stand up in several times and it is sturdy enough not to tip at all when she does (she weighs about 17 lbs.). I expect to be able to use this tub for several more months. It is GREAT because now she likes to play a lot during baths and I can just stand/sit near her and let her go. I expect we'll use this with our next newborn too! VERY worth it!
