Baby Products Reviews of PRIMO 4-In-1 Soft Seat Toilet Trainer and Step Stool White with Pastel Blue SeatCustomer Review: Wonderful potty chair! Summary: 5 StarsI've never written a review before, but just had to put my two cents in for this potty chair. This is the third one we've gotten for my three year old and she absolutely loves it! It is the perfect size for her (most other potties are way too small for a preschooler). She refused to use the potty until we got this one. It has been wonderful. I do agree with some of the other reviews in that there are a lot of little areas under the seat to clean, but everything is easy to get to. Ours also arrived with scuff marks on the lid, but was obviously not used, so don't know what happened there. Overall, this product is wonderful for the price. It is high quality and easy to use all around!
Customer Review: Great throne! Summary: 5 StarsAlthough our son is still too little to get potty trained I went ahead and got this for him so he could start "sitting" on it and getting acquainted with it. I figure it's never too early to start the process. The potty is nice and sturdy and its parts seem like they will be easy to clean (they all detach). It also serves as a stepping stool which we are using right now for teeth brushing/hand washing. Perfect little potty for the price!
Customer Review: I am not impressed. Summary: 2 StarsI chose this potty for my son because of the good reviews. I do not like it. I'm honestly baffled by all the great reviews now that I have this thing in front of me.
1)It is made of cheap material, feels flimsy, the grips on the bottom of the thing do nothing to keep it in place when the child sits on it.
2)It comes apart into 5 or 6 different pieces and all my son likes to do is take it apart. I did not want a potty that would turn into a toy, and this has just become like a puzzle for him, with all the different pieces.
3)It is a little big for him. He is young still but he's a big boy for his age. I looked at one of the pictures posted and he looks about the same size as the curly haired kid reading the book, but the potty in that picture is NOT this potty! This one is a little bigger and he can't get quite touch his feet on the ground, which is important.
4)And one final thing, maybe most importantly, the "soft" seat is not so soft. Doesn't seem very comfortable to me. It's just plastic on top of plastic... and after my son sits on it for just a few minutes his butt has horrible red marks all over it! Definitely not comfortable.
So, overall, i'm not impressed at all.
I gave it 2 stars because... it gets the job done I suppose, and for a child a little bit older than my son it might fit a little better. Also I really liked the idea that it was 4-in-1.
Overall though, I do not suggest getting this potty. Look elseware!
It's probably best to actually go to a store and look at them first hand, and not order online. That's what I should have done in the first place.
Customer Review: Um, yeah. THIS POTTY IS AWESOME! Summary: 5 StarsWe've had this potty for a month now, and could not be happier. We originally had a seat that went right on the toilet, but because it hinders my toddler's independence (by not being able to get on himself) it was a dud. I was worried about some of the other potty seats because of reviews suggesting they would not accomodate a bigger/older child.
This seat is perfect! Since the chair came (via FAST SHIPPING), my son has used the seat every single day at least once and sometimes more. He'll sit on there for quite awhile with a book and no red marks on his chunky thighs. It's great that his feet touch the floor, too. He especially loves the step stool, but I would not reccommend showing your child this feature unless you want them moving "the stool" around themselves. As far as cleaning goes, I don't imagine anything would be easier. Great seat. Very pleased. Glad we passed up on the brand I actually prefer (Bjorn).
Oh and did I mention my son is only 21 months??
Customer Review: That was easy. Summary: 5 StarsI'm not sure if this is normal for a child or not, but once we put this next to our toilet, our son started using it all by himself without any kind of "training" from us. Even weeks later, he still runs to the bathroom to use it...
The other odd part is that he likes to empty it himself. He takes the seat off, pulls out the bucket, dumps it in the big toilet, flushes, and puts everything back together...
No complaints here!
