I purchased this seat as we are in the process of training our daughter and didn't want to hinder the process when we went out to the stores - no point in taken a step forward at home and then taking 2 steps back when outside! I've found this seat to be great! My daughter is 2 years old - 24 lbs and finds the seat very comfortable. Simple and easy. Fits in my purse conveniently. THe seat unfolds and attachs to the front of the toilet seat. I went into 3 different stores yesterday and not a problem in any of them (all with adult toilets) - Build a Bear, Target, & American Girl! The handles in the front are also great, my daughter was sitting & holding them without a problem. A++Customer Review: So glad I bought this

I'm very pleased with this potty seat. I think this item is hard to find because I didn't see it at my local Babies R Us, so I was glad that Amazon sold it.
The seat folds up very small and is convenient to put in the bag. My son has had no problems sitting on it when we use it (no pinching, either!) and it seems to fit well on the toilet. The foam stickers that you place on the bottom help it from slipping and sliding around when it's being used. The handles are well placed so my son can easily hold on. I don't care that there are no designs on it. I like that there isn't any razzle dazzle on it. Simple is the way to go and this seat gets the job done.

The idea behind this seat is good. Little ones, especially those just learning to use the toilet, need a portable seat so they feel secure on public toilets, or even at Grandma's house. But the design on this seat is not good for little kids. The seat doesn't stay on the toilet securely. Even with me lifting my toddler up onto the seat, it shifts, falls into the toilet (ew!), etc. But the most serious problem with it is that the seat pinches little parts in the hinges. OWW! Also, because of its shifting, once (trying it at home to see if it worked any better), it slid over and REALLY pinched my sons privates inbetween the seat and the regular toilet seat.Customer Review: Handy for day-to-day

I got this travel potty seat for a recent trip, which included air travel. My 2yo daughter had just started potty training. Since I didn't want a full travel potty with me while trying to fly, I opted for this seat. It has been great. It folds up very compactly and fits in any medium-sized purse or diaper bag. It folds up so the parts that touch the toilet are not exposed, and includes a large ziploc bag for travel. This seat is very easy to clean; sanitary wipes work just as well as soap and water. I feel much better using this seat as opposed to disposable seat covers, since it has handles. A must for any parent with a kid learning to use the potty!Customer Review: Love it!

Was worried by the negative reviews but bought it anyway. Really glad I did. I'm not sure what "fit" people were expecting - it fits a tiny bottom like it should - it is smaller than a regular toilet seat because if it wasn't, you wouldn't be able to stick it in your bag. I have had absolutely zero slippage. It has grippers on the bottoms and wings in front that you place IN FRONT of the toliet - flush up against it. At first, I tried to put it in the center of the seat and that doesn't work. It took me about 15 seconds to figure it out and we have now used it - without incidence - on 20 or more public toilet seats throughout Chicago.
