Baby Products Reviews of PRI Folding Potty with Handles, White granite

Customer Review: I like it
Summary: 4 Stars

This is a great product. I originally purchased this item for use away from home. My son liked it so much we also started using it at home instead of the other potty seat we have. It's easy to unfold and set up, fits well in my diaper bag (which is already overflowing with 2 kids to pack for), my son holds onto the handles rather than the toilet seat, and I especially like that you can close the toilet lid without removing the potty seat. My son wasn't standing to go at the time and this seat stayed clean every time, unlike the other seat we have. I plan to use this exclusively when I potty train my daughter. My one "complaint" (and the reason I did not give it 5 stars): I wish it could hold more weight, as my son is pretty much at the weight limit.

Customer Review: Very Strudy, great seat
Summary: 5 Stars

We received the sesame street folding potty seat from a friend, the primo by far is much better (I actually bought another primo to replace it with so we own a couple). Here's why I like it : Sturdy, fits on EVERY potty we have tried so far, doesn't move when my son wiggles, pretty sure it doesn't "sag" at all with his weight, folds very small- overall works perfect for what we need. We now own a couple and use them at home as well. Cons: Mainly the seams are not even. Which I can see as only a problem if you are sliding your child's bum around on it, may be uncomfortable. I checked mine didn't seem sharp at all. I would totally buy it again. Plus for around $9.00 this has made our life SO much easier then worrying about my son falling in the toilet...

Customer Review: Pinched Bottom!
Summary: 1 Stars

I bought his seat because I am a complete germaphobe and didn't want my daughter sitting on a public restroom seat. I tried it out at home so she could get used to it and I'm glad I did. I could not get it to fit our standard sized toilet seat at all. It sort of perched above it. When I got it nearly down I sat her on it and it started to fall/fold in in the back. She panicked and started squirming ending with her bottom being pinched. The seat is perfectly flat except the seams for the folds. I'm just not a fan of the design. I think she would have been more comfortable if it was contoured a bit. I have read some reviews that say it's tricky but manageable and offer some tips. I have tried those but no luck. I think there are better options out there.

Customer Review: Great Sanitary Seat for Going Out
Summary: 4 Stars

I read all the reviews before I bought this seat and was a little concerned. I considered buying disposable seats but I think that would end up being costly especially during the potty training stage when kids sometimes go more. But after getting it and using it I think it's great for what it is. I don't know how a folding seat small enough to fit in your purse won't have some things you give up when compared to regular sized seats. It fits on the front part of the toilet and it can seem to bend a little if you put your child too far back on the seat. But my child never touches the toilet and can hold on to the handles which are positioned in the front of the seat away from the side of the toilet. In summary, I try not to leave home without it!!!

Customer Review: overall a great product
Summary: 4 Stars

Since our annual trip to see family coincided with what I thought was the early steps of potty training, I needed something to encourage my son to continue. Rather than "take a break" from training, I wanted to be able to offer him a sit on the potty. This product folds (and opens!) easily and quickly enough for my almost 3 year old son to do it himself and folds small enough to fit in our diaperbag. It also provides a sturdy seat for the potty and has just the right hole size (my son is very observant of that in particular). The one feature that needs inprovement, at least for boys, is a way to shield urine from the front and direct it into the potty. For now, we're reminding him to point things into the potty and stay prepared for clean ups.
