Baby Products Reviews of PRI Folding Potty with Handles, White graniteCustomer Review: Public bathroom lifesaver Summary: 5 Stars
This is such a great little invention. It folds up so compact that I can drop it into a gallon freezer bag, and put it in my purse and leave the diaper bag at home! It provides handles so my daughter doesn't have to put her hands on the public toilet to rest. We haven't had any problems with pinching or anything with the covered hinges, but every once in a while, if she isn't positioned properly with her legs closed enough, we have had a couple of instances of the pee shooting forward onto her clothes... :( But really, I think you'll have that with any little inset potty seat. The openings are pretty small on most of them. Just takes a little practice. For me, it didn't detract from it's overall functionality. The fact that I was able to use it in a port-a-john without worries sealed the deal. ;) It's great for under $10.
Customer Review: Decent potty seat for on-the-go Summary: 4 Stars
I think at this price this is a decent buy for an on-the-go potty seat. My daughter is very small for her age and there is absolutely NO WAY she can sit on a public toilet without me literally holding her in place to keep her from falling in. This potty seat makes it possible to be out-and-about and use the public restrooms. It folds up small enough to easily fit into a diaper bag or stroller without being a big hassle. It's not perfect...I wouldn't use this for my only potty seat at home but it definitely does the job for on-the-go. The one thing I don't like is that the folding parts probably could cause a pinch if mom or dad isn't careful when placing toddler on the seat but we've been using it for a couple months now and have only had one very minor pinch when we were getting used to using it.
Customer Review: great portable potty seat! Summary: 5 Stars
I bought this portable potty seat for my 2 yr old daughter because we were flying cross country and would be using a lot of public bathrooms. It worked great. I did as other people suggested on the previous comments, in which I just slid it from the front (the handle part/open part in front) and it went on easily. We used it for a the whole week at different size toilets (public and homes) and it fit on all of them well, giving good coverage and the handles provided a place for her to hold on to. The other thing nice about it is that it folds in 1/4 and the bottom folds onto itself, so the "dirty" parts doesn't touch the top. It never pinched her butt, but she only weighs 24 lbs. Definitely glad I got it for the trip and will continue to use it when outside of the house.
Customer Review: A PRIMO Potty! Summary: 5 Stars
Simple, handy, works great! It covers the entire portion of the seat that comes into contact with your little one and the handles really come in handy, giving them a place to hold onto! . Folds up small and comes with a zip lock bag to carry it in. Be sure to line it up so that the tabs on the front, line right up to the front of the toilet seat (keeping it in place). Practice with it at home once or twice first, that way you'll have it down before you need to use it when your under pressure, out in a public potty! The box does mention that it is to be used for children UP TO 40 lbs! In addition I bring along clorox wipes to wipe it off before returning it to the bag! Also the folds in the seat actually over lap each other, so I don't see how pinching can occur.
Customer Review: Love it!! Potty training made easier!! Summary: 5 Stars
I bought this potty seat for my 3 year old and it works great. I have had no problems using it at any public restroom and we go out a lot. This seat fits on any oblong toliet seat with no problem. It has rubber stobbers on the front to help it from moving and the seat doesn't pinch. I would absolutely recommend this seat to anyone who wants potty training to be made easier when you go out. Children are scared of the big potty's because they are afraid they will fall in and this takes away all fear. The handles are also great because the child will not have to touch the seat with their fingers and get all nasty. I also took one of the reviews advice and I put down a seat liner before I put the potty seat down to save cleaning time. This is a great product!!
