Baby Products Reviews of PRI EuroBath, Pearl White

Customer Review: One of my best baby purchases- can use it for so long!
Summary: 5 Stars

This is a great tub. I have a bad back and this makes bath time so much easier. I sit it on the counter and just fill it with big pitchers of water. The best part is the drain/hose. When I'm done bathing baby, I just let it drain into the sink while I dry him. The drain prevents me from having to lift a tub of water. When his bath is done and the tub has drained, I wipe it out with a small towel and it's completely dry and ready to store (so no fabric or sponge to mildew!). If I'm in a hurry, bath time (including dressing baby, cleaning the tub and putting it completely away) takes 25 minutes tops. I actually look forward to bathtime! My 10 month old still reclines on the infant side when I wash his hair and that goes so smoothly because the tub positions him so that water won't go into his eyes yet it never flows over the side of the tub onto the counter. It flows right back into the tub. I hate to say this, but because we've been using this tub for so long (and will continue to because at 29'' long he still has lots of room to grow), bathtime is not something I have think about or plan for. It's become a habit, although a fun one. HE'S OUTGROWN HIS CAR SEAT, HIS BOUNCY SEAT AND HIS SWING BUT HE'LL STILL BE USING THIS FOR ANOTHER YEAR!

Customer Review: No more screaming at bathtime!
Summary: 5 Stars

We received a sling-style bathtub for our baby shower and our 5 wk old daughter HATED it! Before her umbilical cord stump fell off, we had to have her in the sling. Even when you are pouring warm water over them, they can never stay warm enough. Once the stump fell and we had her in the tub, she was SO squirmy and I was afraid of her slipping as I tried to hold her with one hand and wash her with the other hand - she was uncomfortable and screamed at every bath.

The EuroBath is COMPLETELY different! It holds her in there so nicely, she LOVES tubby time now! I had this since before she was born but was afraid of using it because it looked so big and she is so tiny. I wish I would have used from the beginning! Since it is plastic, I keep a small towel behind her back while she is still unable to hold her head up completely just to make sure she is comfortable. I can tell this will work wonderfully for many months to come.

It is large, so I don't know how well it would work if you are tight on space. She has her own bathroom, so we just keep it in her bathtub for now. I will be purchasing this for any baby shower I attend from now on! It's amazing how much my baby girl is enjoying her baths now!

Customer Review: Worth the $
Summary: 5 Stars

I originally purchased (...) tub at a well known retailer, thinking all tubs are alike basically. It had an "adjustable" seat that holds the baby too high in the water. You either have to fill it to the top (and get soaked) or let the baby be chilled. Also, even in the reclined position the lip on the seat wasn't enough to hold my baby so he kept slipping forcing me to wash him with one hand. So I ditched it and bought a EuroBath. Here is why I love it:
1. Built in seat has leg divider that really holds infant in place so you can use both hands to wash.
2. Deep sides allow you to fill the tub to keep baby in water without using a ton of water.
3. Grows with child- the "deep end" is great for when baby is able to sit but not ready for full tub. Also, even in deep end it is hard for baby to slip under water because of the middle divider (it can be done however-just not as easily).
4. Solid piece plastic design is easy to keep clean- no crevices or foam inserts.
5. Little holders on the top are great for putting soap in reach.

Things I don't like-
nothing! Even though it initially seems large it is a well designed tub and the space provided is prefect- make room for it!

Customer Review: DON'T CONSIDER ANY OTHER TUB!
Summary: 5 Stars

My son is now 11 months old & we are still using the Eurobath. As an infant, he used the one side where he was reclined in a very comfortable position & with the contoured design, he was completely unable to slip down into the water. I did use a bath towel underneath him to add a little comfort & warmth during the bath & also put a washcloth on his belly to keep warm also. He became very comfortable with the bathing process & learned to LOVE the water without any fear - there was nothing intimidating about this tub. When he was able to sit up, we switched him to the other side - again he was very comfortable & had LOTS of leg room to splash & kick around. I also like that it is a large tub (space can be an issue if you don't have storage space - we just leave ours in the tub) - it holds alot of water & he doesn't get cold. Another benefit is that it doesn't waste alot of water since I don't have to fill the regular bathtub with water; that would be a waste since he's still so little. I will be sad the day that he is no longer able to use this tub - but at 11 months old & 24 lbs, he's still a perfect fit & doesn't show any signs of outgrowing it any time soon. It's simply worth every penny!

Customer Review: Nice features, but enormous
Summary: 4 Stars

Biggest Plus: The shape of the infant side of the tub, that 'holds' your newborn under the arms and between the legs so they can't slip too deep into the tub (easy to do when they don't have much muscle control and they're slippery wet)

Biggest Negative: This tub is truly enormous. It will fit inside a standard tub/shower combo, but barely. It's difficult to find somewhere to store it, and the hole to hang it is only useful if you can find/attach a hook strong enough to hold it (we had to use a massive suction cup hook as we have a one-piece tub/shower combo with molded surround, and that still lets loose and falls every few days making an attrocious racket and scaring the living daylights out of anyone who happens to be in the house - including a sleeping newborn).

Alternative Solution: The company also makes a Eurobath Infant Tub *Seat*, which is shaped like the inner part of the tub (the underarm and leg 'holders'), but simply attaches to the bottom of your tub (or sink) with suction cups. It's easier to store, easier to fill and drain (no waiting for the water to reach the right temp before filling and dumping to drain), and it's less expensive. A better option for our little one, anyway.
