Baby Products Reviews of PRI EuroBath, Pearl WhiteCustomer Review: Expensive tub, but well worth every penny Summary: 5 Stars
We bought this tub 4 years ago for my son. My daughter used it, and now, my 3rd baby is using it as well. The molding of this tub is perfect, as it cradles an infant on one side, and when they are old enough to sit up, they sit up well on the opposite end. My 4 y.o. son used this until he was 21 months, and my now 2 y.o. daughter used it until she was 20 months. I love the fact that they can sit safely inside the tub, and I never have to fear they would slip and get their head under water, which may bring fear of water to some kids.
Very durable. There are no other unnecessary attachments that require extended amounts of drying time, or could get moldy in time. There are no moving parts, so there is never any danger or possibility of something breaking with long term use.
My 4 week old is a little too small to use this right now, but I've managed to make him quite comfortable by placing a folded towel as a padding on the molded side to make him comfortable.
It's a huge tub, and I've found hanging it on the wall is the best way to dry it up. But as big as it is, it's quite lightweight, so no problem there. Did I mention it's durable? We paid around $40 for this 4 years ago, and with baby #3 using it, it's been worth every penny.
Customer Review: Good tub for older babies... Summary: 4 Stars
We chose this tub for our baby registry based on other reviews we had read here on the Babies-R-Us website. It is pretty expensive compared to other choices out there and we would not have one except that we got it for a gift. $$$$$We really like the tub now that our baby is older. It did not work well for her until she was about three months old. Until then, the bear shaped giant body sponge from Wal-Mart worked perfectly. We really like that the EuroBath enables babies to use the tub in stages... reclining at an angle on their back, sitting up with the support and lastly sitting up without need of the support. There only two things we don't like about it. First, there is only one drain hole in one corner of the tub on the bottom. They need to put a drain hole on both corners. Because of lack of drainage you have to be very careful to turn the tub over to be sure you don't have water sitting in there until the next day. Second, there are two soap cups/cubbies in the tub, but only one has a drain hole. The cup without the drain hole stays full of water and is really pretty useless because of it. They need to put a drain in that one as well. Overall we like this tub, but we probably wouldn't buy another one unless the above issues were changed.
Customer Review: The Best Baby Bathtub Ever! Summary: 5 Stars
I LOVE THIS TUB! I just bought it yesterday after spending hours searching for the perfect tub, because my 2-in-1 bathtub from The First Years was unsafe and broke (I hated it!)I read reviews about this tub and upon serious thinking, went out and bought it! The design is wonderful. At first, I was weary, but upon using it, I realized my baby loved it. She didn't slide around, because the side for newborns has molded areas (which is the Eurobath's BEST feature!) to fit under her arms and between her legs (which also let me have TWO free hands to bathe her, because I didn't have to support her). She was also IN the water, so she didn't get cold. She loved splashing around. I DEFINITELY reccommend this tub. It's the BEST! There are only a couple disadvantages, which I knew before purchasing the tub. This tub is very big, but it does have a slot for it to be hung on a wall (storage space was not a concern for me). Also, I had to use a small towel under my newborn's head because there was no padding. Lastly, the drain is kind of awkward and slow which doesn't matter, because it's just easier to tip the tub over to dump out the water. The advantages completely outweigh the disadvantages, and the Eurobath by Primo is WONDERFUL!! I would buy it again in a heartbeat!!
Customer Review: The Best Tub Ever Summary: 5 Stars
The EuroBath is the best tub I've purchased. My 3 month old daughter fits perfectly into the mold, which prevents her from sliding downward or sideways. I don't have to constantly have one hand on my daughter. This tub makes washing my baby a breeze. Having four children and going through multiple tubs, this tub exceeds my expectations. I highly recommend it.
Update: My daughter is now almost 6 months old, kicking and splashing around. Not to worry...she stays perfectly in place. This tub gives my daughter freedom to enjoy her bath by allowing her to splash around with her hands and feet. It gives my back a break because I don't have to worry about her slipping down. My other three children also love helping with the bath. By the way, the water rises high enough to her chest to keep her warm, but not too high for the water to rise to her ears. Despite it's larger size, I couldn't recommend any other tub, especially for new parents. I also like the fact that my daughter will be able to continue using this tub as she is able to sit up on her own. It saves me from buying a tub ring, which, from experience, I wouldn't recommend because they don't stay in place, loose suction grip, and the ring makes it difficult to clean the infant well.
Customer Review: Baby's own mini pool! Summary: 5 Stars
This is such a wonderful bathtub I can't believe we never heard of it until recently. Because we live in an apartment and frequently sleep-over at Grandma's, we wanted an infant tub that was small, portable and can be folded. While our baby's first 2 tubs were ok, I wasn't really happy at the way the water level only covered her bottoms...I know I want MY bath water all the way up my shoulders! When she learned to sit up at 6 months I knew we had to move her to a larger tub...however, I didn't relish the thought of breaking my back giving her baths in our bathtub/shower with that sliding glass door in the way. The only solution would be anything large and safe which we can simply put on the bathroom floor, kind of like her own baby swimming pool. Well, this huge EuroBath certainly fits the bill! Its huge size does not even bother me anymore--our 9-month-old loves it! She gets to play with all her floating bath buddies, and mom doesn't have to break her back either. If your baby keeps slipping even with the safety molded center, just place a towel or those foam bath cushions for her to sit on. Anyway, our daughter has so much fun chasing her toys, not even a combination of molded center and foam seat can keep her seated! A must for your little water baby!
