Customer Review: Huge, Small Infants Need Extra Support
Summary: 3 Stars

I was surprised at how huge this tub actually is! It's great that this tub will accommodate my daughter as she gets older. However, it is difficult to store. I usually keep it in our tub until it is dry and then place it in the closet in her nursery. Note: the drainage is awkward to get to (it's a tube mechanism on the underside of the tub) when the tub is used inside a regular bathtub, and it drains slowly. I usually end up just tipping it to get the water out.

Also, I have to admit I was scared to death one day when my daughter, who was squirming quite a bit, wrenched out of my grip and slipped sideways in the infant "seat". She's not quite big enough for the arm supports to work effectively, so as she was kicking, a leg swung up over the leg divider and her shoulder slipped down causing her whole body to go sideways in the water. This all happened in a split second, and I don't know who was more scared and shocked, her or me. (Ironically, the "Safe Bather" cushion I bought to use in this tub is too big for the infant section...my daughter was actually above the water line. Not only was it difficult to wash her, but she was chilly as well).

So, the next time I bathed my daughter, I folded up a hand-towel which covered the entire infant section perfectly. My daughter is secure in the infant section while covered enough by the water to stay warm.

I like this tub a lot, it just needs a little adjusting if your baby is newborn/small.

Customer Review: The best tub you can buy!
Summary: 5 Stars

When I was pregnant and looking to buy a tub I went through every review on Amazon to see which one people liked most. The EuroBath got the best ratings by far. Now after using the tub for about 6 months I see why everyone is so pleased.
I have never had to bathe a baby before so I was a little scared at first. This tub's contoured bottom made it so easy! There is a place designed specifically for your baby to rest comfortably without you having to hold them. Your baby may be a little small to fit snugly at first. If that is the case, use a towel underneath them to hold them in place.
The only people that should maybe hesitate to buy this tub are those with very limited space. It is HUGE! My bathroom isn't exactly spa size so I store the baby tub inside my tub. There is also a way to hang it on the wall too but I'm not sure why you would need to go that far.
I don't recommend trying to move the tub when it is filled with water due to it's size. I simply fill it in my bathtub, sit on the floor and bathe my son, then when I'm done I tip the tub up and let the water drain. There is tube that you can use to let the water drain from so you don't have to lift the tub, but I find it faster just to lift it up and dump the water out.
Other than those with little storage space I see no reason why anyone shouldn't buy this tub. I think the reviews themselves show how much you and your baby will love it!

Customer Review: Excellent product!!
Summary: 5 Stars

We were hesitant to spend the extra money on this tub because with the shipping and higher price tag, this was considerably more money that most of the other tubs out there on the market. I was even more hesitant when we visited our neighbor who has one and saw how huge it is. The size was daunting but, with the great reviews we read online, we decided to give it a try. What an enormous difference it has made for a stress-free bath time! Before we bought this tub, we were bathing our son in a much smaller plastic tub and bathtime was a nightmare! I was a nervous wreck because when I tried to clean his body, he would squirm and slide all over the tub like a greased water ballon. Because of the firm grip I felt I had to have on him at all times, I did not feel I was able to clean him thoroughly enough because loosing my grip to completely clean him was sacrificing his safety. After a few weeks of miserable nighttime baths, he seemed to grow out of it and we looked for other options to bathe him in. Now with the Eurobath, he sits in the contoured seat and smiles while we bath him. It has dramatically changed our bathtimes from one with a crying baby, to one who actually enjoys getting a bath. We can also justify the price in that this tub will fit his body until he is big enough to take a bath in the regualr tub. Spend the extra cash on this tub and you will be glad you did!

Customer Review: Four kids later this is my favorite tub
Summary: 5 Stars

I have four kids and have used so many different tubs. This is by far my favorite. This tub is very big and holds an ample amount of water. I love that it is molded inside to accomate young babies and later on toddlers. While the baby is young, the infant molded side is great. There is plenty of room to fill the tub and keep the baby covered in warm water. There are even spots to hold soap, shampoo or wash cloths. I like that and I always put my stuff in these areas before I even start the bath so that everything is right there and I don't have to reach for anything. Once your baby can sit very well, you move him to the toddler/sitting side. This side is great because it allows you to bathe the baby and he won't be sliding all around the tub because the moldings help keep him steady and secure. Here is the one warning and tip I will give: My second son was very active during bath time. He loved to play and carry on. He kept on trying to stand and he kept slipping and smashing his little behind and nether regions on the molding. This happened a few times until I learned that this tub was no longer a good tub for him. I packed it away and brought it out when my third son was born. I will use it until my son has the same problem. I don't think it's a problem with the tub - just something that you should be aware of and watch out for. Overall, I love this tub.

Customer Review: Best of the Tubs
Summary: 5 Stars

We added this tub to our baby registry after extensive research--and it certainly lived up to our expectations. When other expectating parents ask us about indispensible baby items, this one tops our list.

The best feature of this tub is its design. It really is a hands-free tub in the way that others are not. It's much easier to wash your little one when you don't have to have one hand wrapped around him to keep him from sinking in or rolling over into the water. We went through four different tubs or rings at my in-laws as our son grew, and then grew out of, the various tubs that they had purchased for him. He'd use one at one visit and be too big for it by the next. But we've used the Eurobath for an entire year. In fact, we officially retired it last night. While your 24-month old might in fact still fit in the tub, as the product claims, it ceased being all that safe once our son started standing up in the tub and then trying to walk around in it or out of it. The bottom surface is very slippery when wet. But again, it served us well for a year. One final note: we dispensed with the tube drainage system and just dumped the water by tipping the tub over. That was just as easy. And while we live in a small-ish apartment, we never had a problem with the tub's size--we just hung it on a peg on the back of the bathroom door.
