Baby Products Reviews of PRI EuroBath, Pearl WhiteCustomer Review: Excellent product Summary: 5 Stars
My son loves this tub. He was just 4.5 lbs when I brought him home and for the first couple of weeks he was so small, I bathed him in the basin they gave me at the hospital. At about 3 weeks old I decided to try the bath, it was fabulous. Even though he had grown pretty fast in those 3 weeks, he was still under 7lbs and although the bath is big, it wasn't too large for me to easily and safely hold him with one hand while I washed him with the other. He never slipped or got scared, in fact he loved this bath from the get go and started to splash around from the first day. As he grew and fit into the molded shape of the bath better, I was able to let go of him and let him just splash to his heart's content (don't worry, I never leave the room!). He's now 9 months, 22lbs and 29 inches long, but cannot sit up on his own yet and the bath still fits him perfectly. I bath my son every night and he truely loves it, I credit the bath with making this time of day that much more enjoyable. When we went on vacation, because of the size of the bath, I took the safer bather pillow, which is a good product for travelling, but I didn't feel that it's as safe as the Eurobath - he can splash his way off the pillow, so I have to keep a really close eye on him. The bath is big, but I just leave it propped up in the bath (we have a separate shower). If you have one of those bath/shower combos it may be a bit cumbersome, although I have used mine successfully as Grandma's house. This is one of the best baby items I have used so far, I highly recommend it.
Customer Review: The only tub anyone should use! Summary: 5 Stars
I agree with the past review that whoever thought of this idea was really thinking of parents!
I really wanted my son to enjoy bathtime, but I didnt want to be bending over the tub in agony all night... this EuroTub is fantastic. We actually place a folded towel on our kitchen counter, place the tub ontop of that, and than fill the tub by a pitcher of water from the sink (takes about 2 -3 pitchers) our son is 5 months old and almost sitting up, so he will soon be transitioning to the toddler side. The infant side "hugs" any sized baby so well that they dont move around a whole lot yet they can kick and be extremely happy. The toddler side enables an older child to sit up and splash the water infront of them. This tub is very comfortable for any child and super durable. Also the tub is designed in such a way that washing your baby is so easy, you arent fumbling around trying to get "everywhere" the EuroBath solves all of your probelms. We drain ours by getting a pitcher full of water out and dumping that in the sink, and then we are able to dump the rest into the sink and than just shake the access water outside on the nearby porch... it really sounds like more of a hassle than it is. We keep ours In our downstairs closet on a hook, it really isnt all that terrible, but I see how some people may not like it due to space.
I love this tub and will save it for future kids, and even grandkids because I doubt there will EVER be a baby tub that can top this one!
Customer Review: You can use both hands to bathe your baby! Summary: 4 Stars
As a first time mother, this tub gave me a ton of security. It is molded to fit your baby from birth (after the cord falls off) until they are ready for the big tub. There is a spaces molded into the plastic to hold your reclining baby. There are places molded to support your baby under the arms and a place molded to keep your baby from sliding into the water. Once your baby can sit up, you can place your baby in the other side, and they can still use the tub. You don't need to buy another tub once they learn to sit up. I love that it holds your baby. You can use both hands to clean the baby instead of using one to hold him and the other to wash. A lot of tubs are difficult to drain too. This tub has a small hose. You simply detach one end from the tub, and the water flows out. The two 'soap trays' are convenient to put wash cloths and shampoos in while you are bathing. I chose to give this tub 4 stars instead of 5 because your baby has to grow into the tub. It is great for big babies. It also is hard plastic. I would recommend putting a towel down for your child to lay on. Lastly, it is a very large tub. I keep mine in the bath tub. It doesn't fit under the cabinet. Despite these few draw backs, this tub is certainly worth the money and peace of mind you will have knowing your little one isn't going to slip under the water. Even though it keeps your little one from slipping, it isn't fullproof. Don't leave your baby unattended in the tub.
Customer Review: A great way to bathe baby Summary: 5 Stars
Looking for a baby tub was a big issue for me. It had to be safe, sturdy and easy to use. This tub is all that and more. My daughter was born premature and as soon as her cord fell out I was able to use this tub safely with her even though she was very small. She is now almost a yesr old and I am still using it to give her a bath. The reclining back is perfect for supporting younger babies, the arm rests supported her upper body while the leg support helped support her lower body and hold her in place so that while I was washing her I could clean her without trying to hold her in one spot. The recline is also perfect for washing hair so that soap and water doesn't run down into the face. There are little cubbies that hold soap and washcloths and cotton balls within easy reach and they are not awkward to get to. Now that my daughter is able to sit unassisted she sits facing the recline. I can still very easily wash her while she splashes and plays and she still has support when it gets slippery. The drain at the bottom is a good idea but I never used it (I just dumped the water into the tub). I liked the fact that it fit snugly into my bathtub, it didnt slide or wiggle around. Storage is easy too, there is a notch in the back that fits perfectly on the towl rack to hang dry. I felt safe using this product and I would buy this tub again. I do highly recommend it to every mother with a baby. It was so much better than the tubs I had with my first two children.
Customer Review: Good Size Tub Summary: 4 Stars
I was looking for a bigger tub since my 6 month old son had already outgrown his infant tub and I wanted something that was versatile enough to support him leaving my hands free since he has not yet mastered sitting up by himself. We tested it out and he seemed to really enjoy it since his feet were immersed and on the same level as the rest of his body unlike his previous tub. Also, the molding was great as it allowed him to lay back without letting him slip under water. The tub seems big enough to hold him until he hits toddlerhood and the size is great as it still lets us use enough water to immerse him, yet less water than filling the whole bath tub. The only thing I would have liked is for this to have a non-slip mat or foam pad like the infant baths do. Although he doesn't slip around, I would like to have his head cushioned as sometimes he tries to get up and does not have enough control to lay his head back down gently, so he sort of bangs it against the tub. Also, I think the draining process could be improved upon as it's quite a pain to have to assemble the clear plastic tube between the drain from the soap dish and the drain from the tub - drains very slowly as well and does not drain completely unless you just tip the tub to let the water out. They could have just put in a tradition plug on the tub floor that changes color when the temperature gets too hot; along with a foam pad for the baby's head - then it would be a five-star product.
