Customer Review: The ONLY tub you'll need for 2 years!
Summary: 5 Stars

I don't know where this tub was when I was researching them during my pregnancy? But had I seen it, I would have saved $50 on the other two I purchased and didn't really like at all. This one is FANTASTIC! I honestly think we'll be using it until junior is 2 years old. We purchased it at 6mos old, 18lbs and 25 inches long. He fits in the horizontal side PERFECTLY. He is able to sit with assistance on the carpet, but the tub is too slippery for him yet, so we were in a pickle as to what tub concept would be best for him. Our wishes granted! There is PLENTY of room on the opposite end of the recliner to use when he is able to sit up with more stability. I love that it keeps his body perfectly immersed in water without having to fill my whole bathtub. He has never once slipped out of the reclining position, the sides hold under his arms perfectly. Our old 2 tub attempts had him squirming all over and I could have NEVER let my hand off of him. This tub allows me to just let him frolic and play without having to keep my hands on him or be leaning over the entire time. It has changed the way we all see bath time for sure! My single ONLY complaint would be that while using the reclining side, there is no padding for his head and the plastic seems so hard. I just fold a washcloth and put it under his head for padding. We are fortunate enough for my son to have his own bathroom, but if you have to share one with your child, I can imagine having to move this large tub in and out every time you bathe yourself could get old. So maybe it's not perfect for anyone with space restrictions in their bathrooms?

Customer Review: A MUST HAVE for every baby!
Summary: 4 Stars

The ratings don't lie - this is without a doubt the BEST baby tub on the market!

When our son was born, we were given the 4 in 1 tub as a gift. Based on the poor ratings it got, I didn't even open the box. We tried using a giant 'tub sponge' and then graduated to a mesh sling that the baby sits in in the tub. I don't reccomend this type of product because my back was a mess, and when the baby learned to roll over, he nearly fell off into the bathwater!

By then he was too big for any of the small infant tubs. The Eurobath has been the best solution we could have imagined! It is contoured so that my now unruly 6 month old cannot squirm his way out no matter how hard he plays during bathtime. And it's deep enough that he's covered with water and doesn't freeze (a godsend in cold New England winters).

The only design modification I'd make is a better drain. The current drain takes way too long, and the baby is cold by the time the water level goes down enough so that I can rinse him off with clean water. I usually end up bailing the tub out with a big cup.

If you're worried about it's size or where you're going to store it, don't let that dissuade you. I was concerned about the same thing, because we have a very small bathtub (circa 1972). It's snug, but it fits! As for storage, we just keep it in the big tub and remove it when we need the shower - it really isn't a problem at all.

Other than the drain issue, this tub has every feature a parent could want! Don't waste money or time trying anything else - this is exactly what you need to keep your baby safe and happy during bathtime!

Customer Review: I LOVE this tub!
Summary: 5 Stars

I hesitated a little to buy this tub due to its size, but I can't even begin to tell you how glad I am that I added it to my registry! I've been using it since my daughter was born & now, at 4 months, 24.5" and 13 lbs, she is nowhere close to outgrowing this sucker! And it's so easy to bathe her. She is supported so well that both of my hands are free to wash her....something very important for a first-time parent, in my opinion. And the Sure Comfort Newborn-to-Toddler Tub (http://www.target.com/gp/detail.html/ref=br_1_1/602-0686400-4931012?%5Fencoding=UTF8&frombrowse=1&asin=B000067EH7) that I bought to keep at my inlaws house further reinforces my love of the Eurobath. I used it (Sure Comfort) for the first time at Thanksgiving when my daughter was not quite 3 months old & HATED it. She was already outgrowing it & I couldn't wash her hair without taking her out of the tub. That made her very unhappy! With the Eurobath, I can wash her hair while leaving her in the tub. I just use a little toy bucket to pour water over her hair, scrub, & rinse...all without spilling water everywhere while she's still comfortably seated in the tub.

And as far as the size is concerned....yes, it's big. However, the one end of the tub has a hole in it. I bought a heavy duty picture hanger & mounted the hanger on the wall, just above the tile, inside the shower of the guest bathroom (it's a full tub/shower). This way, I can hang the tub up on the wall & it's out of the way, allowing use of the shower w/ the tub still in there. Works out great!

This product receives 2 thumbs up...and then some!

Customer Review: Excellent design!!! The best bathtub ever!
Summary: 5 Stars

When it comes to bath time, the Primo Eurobath was the best thing that could have happened to our son - and to us!!! At two months, our son was above the 97th percentil on the growth charts, and, as you may imagine, even though he was only an infant -not able to control his head and back- he was too big for those little tubs that have a spongie back.

The design of the Primo EuroBath is very clever, and like the other reviewers have said, no matter how much he jumps and kicks, he is always safe in place. NOTE, we NEVER leave him unattended, but he likes the freedom of not having my arm right behind his back, since the Eurobath "cradles" him. I do hold him for soaping, and after soaping and rinsing, we give him some "freedom time", which he enjoys a lot!

My husband solved the drainage problem with a "syphon" (spelling?) which we got at the local hardware store for under three dollars, voila! problem solved!!! We have had this tub for four months now and we have used it -and enjoyed it- every day since the day we bought it, and often we comment on what a great purchase that was.

This is by far the best tub!!! Believe me, we walked for hours without end looking for a tub in which our son would be comfortable and safe. After physically inspecting most of the other available models, and seeing how much my son's enjoyment of bathtime improved when we got this tub, I am absolutely convinced that the Primo EuroBath is the best tub ever... so much that even though I bought in "in person", I decided to come "online" to write for the first time a product review.

Customer Review: Nine months and going strong
Summary: 5 Stars

We highly recommend this tub to all of our friends about to have babies (and there seem to be a lot of them these days).

We have been bathing our son in this tub since we started giving him baths. He is now 9 months and just loves the tub! (Most other baby bathtubs may last until the baby is 2-3 months and then they outgrow them). It is definitely worth the extra $5-10 dollars to have a tub that will last and last.

I have read some reviews that complain about the drain draining too slowly...we have never used the drain. We simply turn the tub over to empty it out. In fact this is a big part of the bedtime routine...after our son is dry and in his PJs he watches Daddy turn over the tub and the water splash about. He thinks this is great fun!

I have also read some that complain about the size of the tub (which is its major benefit, I think). We leave it upside down to dry out over night in our tub and then take it out in the morning for our showers). Granted the Euro tub does take up some room in the bathroom, but we just lean it against the wall and move around it.

The only challenge we have had was when our son was tiny...I wish I had read some of the reviews about putting a washcloth under him to keep him from slipping...while it wasn't a problem, it made us a bit nervous when we were first learning to bathe him.

All in all, I LOVE this tub and would definitely buy it again (already have for some shower presents). Totally worth the $$. We consider one of the best things we have bought for the baby.
