Baby Products Reviews of PRI EuroBath, Pearl White

Customer Review: almost the PERFECT tub
Summary: 4 Stars

Our daughter is in the 95th percentile for height and weight and has been since her 2 month checkup. We outgrew the infant tub and sponge by 3 months. She was sitting up and wouldnt lie down to bathe, so instead of being fun, bathtime was stressful. Holding onto a slippery soapy baby who really wants to play in the water and NOT lie down in it is HARD!

So when we found this in the store, we set it on the floor and stuck her in it. It was a fit! And the weird looking curves and shape made sense once I saw how it kept her in a sitting position. It also makes it feel safer to me. It would be complicated, I think, for a baby to accidentally drown in this tub.

Anyway, we took it home. She LOVES her tub! It allows some room for her to splash and play, allows me access to bathe her, and when it's time to do her lower half, we just slide her around to the infant recline and wash her bottom! It's her least favorite part, but it's do-able and then we just slide her back around the cone and she's playing again before she's got a chance to get upset.

We have a stand-up shower in a very small bathroom, so we use the tub on the bedroom floor. It works out well this way, because it's easy to fill up with the shower head and then just tug it into the room. After the bath, we tug it back into the shower cabin and stand it up to drain and dry.

The only reason I dont give this tub 5 stars is this: When she "drops" a toy outside the tub, and then leans over to try and reach it, I see the opportunity for the tub to go over on it's side and toss her (and the bathwater) out. I would like it to be a little more stable and less 'top-heavy' when a child is in it. It hasn't actually tilted yet, but I'm wary of it. This may not be a concern when it's inside an adult-sized bathtub, I'm not sure. Other than that, it really is an awesome tub.

Customer Review: Amazing Tub, took some real thought!

someone must have REALLY known babies and mothers while designing this tub. Its so safe and secure, my son loves it!

Hes 12 weeks old (Very small though, around the 29th percentile) but he loves it! We do keep a little washcloth to keep him from slipping too much, but the infant side really holds him! I bathe him on our counter (with a towel folded underneath!) and its amazing. I always wash my son holding onto him and lifting him a bit, but its really easy to get to him in this tub. like the previous reviewer, our son LOVES bathtime so we give him a little while to splash around (all while we are watching!! I usually wipe up the counter area and dry off his soap bottle and stuff!) Hes so content in this tub and I know it will last forever! My 18 month old niece is in the 89th percentile for height and she LOVED the toddler side. She had never liked the big tub (was intimidated) so her mother really washed her in a very large plastic bin (infant tubs were too small!) but once she tried this she was amazed! It is shaped so baby can sit up and splash and have a grand old time, AND they have their back to the little edge for soaps! She was so happy and nice and comfy!

As for the size, we dont mind it at all. We just dump it outside, or slowly dump it in the sink, than rinse it out a little bit, dry it and put it in our laundry room (adjacent from the kitchen) I still cant see how a small apartment couldnt find room for this, put it under the sink, in a pantry/closet, under a bed or the couch, but its really not as big as many baby items out there!

Its never gonna break beacause its all durable plastic. I am shocked in the ingenious design of this tub and GRACIOUSLY thank the person/people who took into consideration all the toils of bathtime with a baby/toddler!

Customer Review: The best "baby" bath on the market!
Summary: 5 Stars

Our twin sons just turned 9 months old... They have ALWAYS used the EuroBath, and I can even use TWO!

First of all we bathe the boys together (my husband and I) so bath time has always been a family thing (or I bathe one while the otheres in the jumper or whatever, and than switch e'm) I use both tubs even if they are bathed one after the other (sanitary reasons) and I just pull the plug (which works WONDERS) and than dump the rest. Than I use my sons towel (after hes done using it) and wipe it up. They are stackable so we stack them and put them in our laundry room. I can also fit both on our counter, or island and it saves our backs... and will continue to do so for atleast a year (my friends 29 month old still uses it) I love the shelf for holding babies shampoos, and that the excess water drains into the tub. I also LOVE that when baby can sit up (and tends to be more grabby) that the shelf is BEHIND them, so that they cant get to it!

Now for the actual bathing. For an infant you can place them on the side that easily supports them, and it keeps them from sliding EVEN THOUGH theres no grip. This left one hand free, and eventually both. It was easy to bathe them and they always seemed comfortable. At about 6 1/2 months we transitioned them to the sit up side. This gives baby a comfortable spot to sit, and half the tub infront of them to splash in! It also holds them so they dont slide around, and keeps a boys penis safe and unharmed. The whole tub is designed for any aged baby, who ever thought of it was a genious!

Its safe, easy to use, easy to clean and FUN for a baby. Our twins have always loved bath time, so I am sure they will love it for years to come... thanks to the EuroBath!

Customer Review: A great quality and safe bath
Summary: 5 Stars

At first I was registered for one of the 4 in 1, transformer bathtubs until a friend pointed me to a few negative reviews I hadn't read. The one about the baby boy's private parts getting pinched and STUCK, requiring medical attention, scared me in to finding a bath that didn't have any seams or grooves or moving pinchable parts.

This bath is large and doesn't fold at all, but I loved it nonetheless. I gave up the bottom portion of a hallway closet for storage, removing a shelf, and it was totally worth it. It's useful for infants who can't sit up unsupported if you use the reclining direction. Then when they're older, you put them in facing the other way and they can safely and comfortably sit up without slipping or tipping. I think its size contributes to its sturdiness and safety.

Our first HATED baths of any kind for almost the first year, but even so, this bath kept her safe and supported so it made the not-so-fun task of giving a bath a little more tolerable.

We loaned it out to a friend in between kids and now have it back only we're missing one of the tubes for the drain. I was going to just go to the hardware store and rig something up, but instead called the company today (PrimoBaby) and they're sending me one out, free of charge. Can you even believe it? Who (other than Medela) has customer service that good nowadays? I know it's a cheap part that probably costs them 5 cents, but it'll cost me more than that in gas for me to drive the 1/2 mile to the store to find something similar that may or may not work.

In conclusion: Yes, it's large, but other than that, I have zero complaints which is more than I can say for just about any other product I currently own.

Customer Review: Edit to First Review!!
Summary: 5 Stars

When I first reviewed this baby tub I was talking about how much my daughter hated it!! She was so uncomfortable. I stated that it was probably because she was on the small side (premature baby). Anyway, last night I decided to try the tub again (I had not used it for almost six weeks) this time she LOVED it.

I really don't know if there is a height/weight recommondation for this tub, but I do know that my daughter likes it better at 9lbs rather than 6 or even 7lbs. Anyway, now that she likes it I can see how it is more comfortable then the others. This tub doesn't have bars on it to stop a child from sliding when they are sitting up, and it summerges the baby's body in the water, rather then letting the baby sit in a few inches. That in itself is great because my daughter loves to kick and hit her hands in the water.

Also, it has two little holders on either side of the infant head area. I'm assuming they are for the baby soap or a wash cloth, maybe even a few tub toys, but I find that it is perfect for my engagement and wedding bands or even a pacifier.

I also love how securly this tub fits into my tub. I have no worries about it sliding around! All in all this tub is THE PERFECT tub. The only problems I could see people having with it is of course a little baby's comfort level. Which can easily be corrected with a baby tub bath sponge, or they can do what I did and just bathe their baby in a regular tub or take it in the shower with them. Also, the tub could be considered huge. It is significantly bigger than the other tubs, but it still fits in a standard size bath tub (although it is quite snug), and of course the bigger tubs!
