Baby Products Reviews of PRI EuroBath, Pearl WhiteCustomer Review: Wish they made one for adults!! FABULOUS! Summary: 5 Stars
Our two month old son was 15 pounds - there was no way he would fit into his little Evenflo newborn sling tub. It was great for a newborn, but not for my big (little) boy! He stayed cold and his feet stuck out. Enter the Eurobath... sweet relief. For him and us. The tub holds him securely - and I do mean securely - in place, leaving my hands free to bathe him. He kicks and splashes in the water now, and loves bath time. There is plenty of room for him, plenty of warm water (he never gets cold in it), and any bath toys he may want. No danger of drowning either, since the seat prevents baby from slipping down. [Although you should NEVER leave your baby unattended in even the best tub.] The tub also grows with your baby - when they sit up, you simply use the other side of the tub and that side holds up a sitting baby securely. I can't say enough good things about the Eurobath. Another parent said it was "perfection". I don't normally rave on and on about baby products, but this one deserves every accolade it has received. Buy it and you will see that it is the best 25 bucks you ever spent!
Customer Review: Don't even TRY any other tub! Summary: 5 Stars
We initially used a small tub that was given to us, but our daughter is long-limbed and outgrew it by 3 months. She is 5 months now and we tried the SaferBather and several other non-baby tub products for use in the bathtub as an alternative, thinking this was the only way to find something big enough to be comfortable for her -- they didn't work as advertised and were a waste of time. THIS tub, however, is absolutely the cat's meow. She can fully extend arms and legs without really bumping anywhere, the water is nice and deep at the leg end but perfect at the head end to prevent water from pooling in her ears. The contoured body supports work exactly as advertised -- she cannot scoot out of the seat or get under water when she arches her back. All molding is very smooth, so there is no need for padding, towels, etc. The one small downer is also it's strongest point -- it's big, so storage is a hassle, but she loves it so much that she's in the bath almost every night. I don't bother to put it away! I have bought and returned three other bathing systems... save yourself the time and just use this one.
Customer Review: My favorite shower gift Summary: 5 Stars
I have 20 month old twin boys and they didnt really use large baby tubs (no room!) so I completely forgot how important this would be for my now 4 month old son! Thankfully someone bought me an infant tub, and thank god its this one!
* The Eurobath doesnt leak on the counter, which is a god-send since it didnt fit in our double sink too well
* Holds enough water to cover my baby
* Has an infant side for babies who cant sit up yet (although we put a little dishtowel there for extra "gripage")
* Has a toddler side for infants who can sit up, gives them some room to play
* Cute color too
* Will fit in the big tub when we need it there
* Cleans up very easily
BUT
* Its really really big and its hard to store
* Theres no support to keep a baby from slipping
* it wont fit in the sink
* Its expensive
All in all though, this is a great tub and by far the best available on the market, really comfortable, dont waste your time buying a cheaper model, you will just wind up buying this one anyway, if you wind up with a good tub.
Customer Review: Large, but worth it! Summary: 4 Stars
This tub is a bit large. It is somewhat cumbersome to store in a bathroom that is used by the rest of the family also, which is why I didn't give it 5 stars. I still would HIGHLY recommend it, though. I was giving my 4 month old 'showers' using my sprayer in the kitchen sink until I purchased this tub. I tried a standard infant tub, but her bootie would slip to the middle of the tub when she arched her back to play. Every time she slipped down, I'd have to boost her back up and drain the tub more because her head would get very close to the water level. It was such a pain, that I just stuck to the 'showers' most of the time. This tub, on the other hand, has a great capacity and the contours keep her in a safe place while she kicks and splashes. I was even impressed with the angle of the head portion. I don't know if the angle is different than my other tub, or maybe it's the size, but I was able to wash her hair with a cup and water with no problem at all. If you have the room for it (or if you can make room for it...the label shows it being stored hanging on the wall), I would say it is very worth it!!
Customer Review: The BEST tub for babies! Summary: 5 Stars
I have used this tub since my son's first bath. He is now 22 months old and weighs over 30 lbs and we are still using it. He makes this large tub look small these days. I know our days of using this are numbered.
When he was an infant, I used this tub with one of those terrycloth tub liners that keeps warm. I never had problems with him sliding. Once he was able to sit up on his own I used the other side of the tub. But when it came time to wash his hair, I'd twirl him around and lay him back on the reclining side and wash his hair without getting any water on his face. Maybe your baby wouldn't care about water in his face, but mine always seemed quite bothered by it until just recently.
Think about when you take a bath, don't you like to recline and relax? Well, my son likes to recline, too. I still have him lay back when I wash his hair and he always looks forward to it. He can't do it in the regular bathtub without slipping down.
I highly recommend this bathtub! You won't be sorry. It's still in such great condition that I'll use it with my next baby, too!
