Baby Products Reviews of PRI EuroBath, Pearl WhiteCustomer Review: Best tub ever - and we tried lots of them! Summary: 5 Stars
We tried several different kinds of tubs with no luck and were quickly becoming frustrated with bathtime. It took two of us to bathe our son in all of the other tubs and they were very awkward and frankly made me a nervous wreck through the whole bath experience. I also hated that the didn't let our son enjoy the bath and splash around.
This tub is exactly the opposite though! I can now bathe him all by myself (or my husband can) because he is supported by the tub so I'm not afraid he is going to slip down into the water. He can splash around in the water and play and enjoy bathtime. :)
Two side notes though:
1 - this tub is much larger than traditional baby tubs and is not able to be used in the kitchen sink as many others are. We don't care though. We set it in our regular bathtub and just sit on the floor to bathe him.
2 - We didn't get this until our son was about 5 months, so I'm not sure how this would work for a brand-new baby. He seems to be the perfect size for it now, but I can't really say how it would be for a smaller, less self-supported kiddo.
Customer Review: Greatest bathtub ever! Summary: 5 Stars
This is the greatest bathtub! We didn't use it for our daughter until she was a few months old and had outgrown her infant tub, but I am planning on using this for my next baby, due in a month. The tub has two sides -- one for when they can't sit up yet and one for when they're sitting. We used both and they worked great. My favorite part is that there is a "crotch support" so your baby is held in there safely and you don't need to keep one hand on them all the time to keep them from slipping. The only two problems I have had have been (1) the size and (2) the drain tube. The tub is quite large, but this was not really a problem for us since we just kept it in the bathtub where we bathed her and it was fine. If, however, your house has only one bathtub or if you will be bathing your baby in the same bathroom where somebody else bathes, it can be a hassle to take it out and put it somewhere while the other person is taking a shower. But it's fine if it can just stay in there. As for the drain tube, ours got mildewed but I'm hoping it will clean out easily before our 2nd baby comes along.
Great tub! A must buy!
Customer Review: WORTH THE $$$ Summary: 5 Stars
My baby boy outgrew the sink when he was 5 months old. I bought the tub by the first years hopping that he would enjoy his new tub. He didn't cause there wasnt't enough room to move his legs around! I returned the tub and bought this euro bath based on the great reviews I've been reading. My baby just LOVING it! He loves doing the splish splash and have been enjoying bathing time so much ever since. Yes, it's a big tub, but I just simply managed to find a way to put the tub in our regular size bath room. As he loves kicking and splish-splashing in the tub, I fill the water below the maximum level of water to prevent water coming into his ears. This tub doesn't have that sticky rubber thing underneath it like any other tubs, so it is so much easier to pull it out of your regular tub. Also, draining is much more simple since the hole is located on the bottom of the tub, so just leave the lid open and leave it like that 'till it's dry.I know that it's a bit pricy compare to other tubs, but it'll last until the baby is about 24 months old - so I think it's an okay deal!I highly recommend this tub to all parents out there.
Customer Review: THE BEST TUB EVER! Summary: 5 Stars
This is a really great tub at a great price! The first tub we purchased was by Safety 1st--it came with a padded fabric liner that is slanted, which at the time, I thought would be great for support and security. WRONG! My son kept slipping into the water, leaving me one free hand while I supported his head with the other. Not to mention, the liner had to be washed and dryed after each use to prevent mildew. The Primo tub keeps baby stable so you can use both hands to bathe with. My son who is now 4 months, enjoys kicking and splashing, as the Primo tub allows you to fill the water level high enough, whereas the other tubs feel more like a sponge bath. The only drawbacks I can think of are: the drain is hard to release; we usually end up tipping the tub into the sink to empty. Also the tub itself is rather large and harder to store when not in use. And finally, it can provide a false sense of security, since baby doesn't slip into the water, one might have the urge to turn away to get a towel or soap, etc. NEVER leave baby unattended in water! OK, I'm off my soapbox--otherwise, it's a great tub--HIGHLY recommend!!!
Customer Review: you may love it, but its an inconvinience to me Summary: 3 Stars
I have 2 sets of twins. With my older twins I just bathed them in the tub, but after some very close calls, (bathing 2 at a time is TOUGH and sometimes I just didnt have the patience, energy or time to bath one and than another). My husband went out to buy a tub when we found out we were having another set of twins! He came back with two of the biggest, most expensive tubs on the market! Okay they are "pretty" they fit baby VERY comfortably, infant or toddler. The design is spectacular, but I did give it a meer 3 stars for a reason.
1. It is HUGE. I mean its really a monstrosity. It practically takes up the entire tub! So I cant even bathe them both at the same time unless they are on the floor!
2.Way too expensive, I mean yes if you have one child this may be the PERFECT tub out there, but baby tubs arent a NECCESITY if you have one (or 2) kids. get a little imperfection and save the 10-15 bucks.
So in my situation this tub is just not worth the hassle, and it fits in the big tub anyway so its not even that small. ANd I forewarn you, if you want a sink tub, this is NOT the one for you.
